Me: (to receptionist) Do you have a room that's on the top floor, far from elevator - or you know super private?

I'm at Hotel Jeonggwanru. I left Hong Kong yesterday without so much as a word to any of the boys. I left a message saying that I'm off to some place and they don't need to worry.

From the plane, I immediately headed to Nami. I did say that I want to go here, Myeongdong, and Namsan.

Me: (answers phone) Ahjussi? De. I'm already here... not sure how long I'll be staying but please pretend as if you don't know.

(Facing the receptionist) Yes, please book that suite (handing my card). Just put 5 nights I guess? Gamsahmnida.

I arrived in my room - it's got a good view - very serene, calm. My phone hasn't stopped ringing - I looked again and saw Jin's name.

Hmmmm, Jin. I really don't know what to do.

Then followed by several messages:
Jin: I hope you're okay? We - Tae & I - plan to leave Hong Kong soon. Are you in Seoul? Please text me jagi. I'm so worried.
Tae: Noona, where are you? I'm calling your omma and appa now.
Jin: Gwenchana? Please just one message jagi.
Jin: We're still okay, right?
Tae: Yah, noona. Please tell me you're not with him.

I smiled despite everything and sent a message to them:

Tae, I'm not with him. I'm all by myself. I will not answer your video because you'll know where I am. Please don't make my omma and appa worried.

Jin, I'm okay. I need just need to think. Mianhe.

Tae and Jin both looked at their phones.

Jin: Tae, were you able to speak to Jisub hyung? What did he say?

Tae: He said that noona asked to be dropped off at the harbor, and that she's confused. That's all.

Jin is pacing the room. Yah, yah, Jin Li, why are you being like this.

RM: (walked in) No luck? Hmmm I wonder where she went to.

Tae: She only goes to one place, and that's the hotel. CS Min is being secretive and he doesn't want to say anything.

Jin is still pacing the room.

Jin: (to Tae) I think I know where she is. (to RM) Do you think I can leave after tonight's last show?

RM: Sure. Let me tell the manager. Good luck, Jin.

I really hope I guessed it right- but she wants to go to these places right, Nami, Myeongdong, Namsan.

I think at this rate, she won't to Myeongdong and Namsan. So here we go - Hotel Jeonggwanru. I really hope she's here.

I went straight to the receptionist - and removed my mask. She gasped, and I immediately sushed her.

Me: Miss, I know you recognize me please don't say anything. I really need your help, and I'll be forever grateful if you can do this for me.

Receptionist: How can I help you Mr. Kim?

Me: I'm looking for Ms. Jin Li Kim. And I really feel that she is here.

Receptionist: I'm really sorry sir. But I can't divulge any information...uhm especially for VIP guests.. or any guest.

Me: VIP huh? I think you just let out a small detail there. (Gets his phone) Appa, Jin here. Can you do me a favor, budi? I'm at Jeonggwanru, and I'm looking for Jin Li. Unfortunately, they can't tell me... (listens)... De. I know, I should have... I finished the show first, took the first plane out of Hong Kong. Appa, budi? Gomapseumnida. Say hello to omma.

Me: (to receptionist) I think, I'll wait here.

After five minutes, an older lady is walking out hurridly towards me.

Manager: Mr. Kim, annyeong. So happy to have you with us. May I know how can I help you? You need information about Ms. Kim, right?

Me: Yes, and I can assure you that I have no intensions of harming her. I'm so, so worried. She only left me a message and I need to see that she's okay. If she wants me to leave, then I'll go, but you have to let me see her. Please.

Manager: (smiles) Okay, I understand. Follow me please.
