One Last Time

I want to wake him up, but I love seeing his face peacefully sleeping.

Me: Jin? Jagi, wake up. I need to tell you something. I am going back to Seoul today, and I am meeting Min Ho.

Jin opened his eyes and sat immediately.

Jin: What? Why? What are you talking about?

Me: (takes a deep breath) I need closure, for me to move on. Don't think that I'll ever change my mind about us, baby. I just need to do this, in order for me to...

Jin: Say no more, baby. I just need to ask you a favor. But let me call our manager first.

Jin goes up, gets his phone. I can't stop admiring how he looks. I must have been staring so hard that he clears his throat and smirks.

Jin: Yah, stop doing that jagi. Or else, we won't be going anywhere. (He points at himself, with his finger trailing his perfectly scuplted chest, and abs) All yours. (Winks)

I blushed and went to the bathroom to get ready. I've already sent a message to CS Min to inform Min Ho about our meeting. I can't risk meeting him at the Penthouse, so I decided to use the conference room. The car will be here in an hour.

Jin called me from outside the bathroom —

Jin: Jagi, after. I need to ask you something okay. But can I join you for now? I think we're running late if we're to go back to Seoul, right? (opens the door)

Me: Yah, Jin-ah!

*At Hannam Hill*
RM ended his phone call and called for the guys.

RM: Jimin, Tae, Suga, JK, and JHope - listen guys, I, well I need to let you know that our manager will release a statement that may affect the group. Tae, Jin will propose to your noona in our comeback concert.

Tae: What? Jinja? That's good!

Jimin: (surprised) You're taking this too well, man.

Tae: Yes, at least she has finally decided. What do we do?

RM: Okay, I was afraid that you'll be mad. But for the comeback, we need to help Jin surprise her.

Tae: Are we singing? Like a normal show right?

RM: Yes, I'm thinking about it. Jin wants to sing, Blood Sweat Tears, which is really weird.

Tae: (laughs) Yah, I think it's noona's favorite. She was asking for the lyrics a few days back - like how it translates to English. And she was shocked, but she liked it.

The car arrived on time. I was wearing a simple outfit - loose shirt tucked in with pants and a pair of nude pumps. Nothing fancy, but Jin glared at me.

Me: Why, baby?

Jin: (sighs) Baby, you look so beautiful. If I were him, I'll try to get you back. But I won't get in the way. I'll be at home.

Me: (confused) Why not at the hotel? You're going home, and leave me?

Jin: I can't baby. Come for me right after okay? I'll send my car.

Me: No, I can manage.

The ride was short, too short in my opinion. My hands were sweating, and before I got off the hotel. I looked at Jin, not muttering a word, but I lightly brushed my lips to his.

I went out, watched the car zoom in, and headed to the lobby. A butler was by my side, and CS Min who informed me that Min Ho is waiting for me.

I reached the room, took a deep breath before entering, and stared at the face of someone I've loved for a very long time.

Me: (clearing my throat) Hi, Min Ho.

He looks very gentle, no signs of cockiness like when we first saw each other when I was having breakfast with Jin.

Min Ho: Hello, Jin Li. Long time. I'm surprised that you want to see me. I guess this is it?

We really know each other - every move, every reaction. Heck, I even felt it when he was cheating on me already yet I turned a blind eye.

Me: (nods) Yes, mianhe Min Ho. But I really, I mean we can't go back seeing each other.

Me: You never answered me. Why did you cheat on me?

Me: You know that I really, really love you right? That I did everything to spite you? All the scenes you saw on TV, I did them all thinking you'll see them and you'll come back.

Min Ho: I tried believe me. But I really can't get through you.

Me: It made me realize that we're really over. Did you know that it was Jin who save me when I tried to kill myself that night?

Min Ho: It crossed my mind yes. I don't think I need to hear what you have to say, baby. I know, I can feel it. Congratulations on finding your new love, and I hope he will treat you better than I did. I won't take much of your time now. Yah, let's do a comeback drama, game? As friends?

Me: (smiles) Why not? Sure. Let your manager ask mine. Yah, it has to be good, arra?

Min Ho: Of course, baby. You know you'll always have a piece of my heart right, jagi?

Me: Likewise. I hope you soon make another girl happy.

Min Ho: Were you ever happy with me?

Me: Of course, of course. Always. See you soon. Thank you for everything, my love.

Min Ho kissed me gently on my cheeks, and I buried myself for our last hug.
