The Comeback & Proposal

*Jin*
It's our comeback concert. We are supposed to sing our new song, but we were able to ask for three songs to the management's delight.

I'm pacing back and forth, checking if the ring is in my pocket.

Tae: (chuckles) Hyung, no one will take that ring away, yah. Stop fidgeting.

Me: She's there right?

Tae: Yes, she's right smack in the middle. You know she really hates going to concerts? She has this weird dislike of being too close to strangers. Guess she really likes you to attend this one.

Me: Well, she has to get used to it.

Jungkook: Hyung, show us the ring again?

I grinned and showed them the ring I had customized - a 3-carat pink princess cut diamond set against a silver diamond encrusted band.

The boys whistled.

Suga: Hyung, how much is that?

JHope: Daebak - you're setting the bar too high, hyung!

RM: Pink princess? (smiles)

Me: Yes, pink princess for my princess. Good thing I was able to steal one of her rings, and had this pink diamond sourced. This one is very rare, and close to perfect too.

Tae: Aish, so hard to top you hyung. What will happen to our future proposals?

Me: Well, you should have gotten engaged before me. Your noona, my jagiya, deserves nothing but the best.

I placed the ring back in my chest pocket, and patted it for good measure.

Me: Two minutes until show time (I shout out loud)

Staff: Two minutes until show time.

Everybody laughed, and wished me luck.

Concerts are not really my thing. And I think some of the fans know who I am, but they're just too scared to pick a fight.

The crowd cheered and I looked up, saw that the host is already annoucing the boys. A short AVP was playing showing their pictures - I took a deep breath when I saw Jin, looking as handsome as before.

I've seen some of their music videos, and I was wondering why their starting position is for Blood Sweat Tears.

Oh, so they're singing an old song?

The fans looked as confused as I am but the boys kept on singing. I kept my eyes to Jin - only him. He gave the smallest of winks, which made my stomach flutter.

He looks so handsome, and so hot. My heart is doing a happy dance. Maybe I can ask for a special performance tonight.

I felt my cheeks reddening as my imagination played with me. I continued watching, sang along with the fans and even the fan chant.

The crowd went crazy. The lights dimmed, and it looks like they are preparing for a second song. The lights opened again, and another familiar song filled the concert hall —

Is it Throwback Thursday? How come they're singing another old hit?

I scanned the stage and Jin was nowhere to be found. I sent a questionning glance over to Tae who just winked. The crowd is also wondering where Jin is.

The boys continued performing. After the first chorus, the video on the screens changed - Jin was on the video, wearing the same clothes, and walking towards the crowd.

I felt the crowd going crazy. I looked behind me and the people are dispersing to the side. There are guards blocking them, and Jin was walking towards me.

She's so beautiful, really.

I can feel my heart beating so fast against my chest. She took notice that the crowd went crazier and turned to look back. She seemed so surprise to see me walking to her.

My lines are coming up soon, I took a deep breath and sang to her...

She was taken aback, and the music slowly faded to soft instrumental. The fans all went silent.

Me: Jin Li, jagi. Annyeong. (to the crowd) Hello Army! This is my girlfriend, Kim Jin Li. (facing Jin Li again) Are you happy to see me, baby?

I saw her pretty face, looking very confused. I took a few more steps closer to her.

Me: Jagi, how I wish that I had the courage to tell you how much I like you, four years ago. (The crowd collectively gasps) It was a rainy night, and I thought an angel has fallen into my arms. It was not a pleasant meeting, but since I have never forgotten about you and our first encounter. You had my heart since then. And maybe even before that because you know that you've always been my celebrity first love.

She laughed, but you can still see how confused she is. I took my last step, kneeled down, took the ring from my pocket, and offered it to her.

Me: Jagi - I won't let this moment pass by, this time. I am truly, deeply, madly in love with you. I want to make you mine forever. Will you do me the honor of being Mrs. Kim Seokjin?

She's crying, and smiling at the same time. She motioned for me to stand up.

Me: Yah, you have to say something. Mrs. Kim Seokjin.

Jin Li: Of course baby.

I slipped the ring to her hand, kissed it, and kissed her with so much passion that I forgot we're in a public place.

The crowd went wild, and the boys started singing..
