It had been about a week since the two had started dating. In the meantime, Y/N was at Amy's desk watching her correct her paperwork before she had to hand it in; Gina was on her phone as per usual looking through Twitter and Instagram; as Charles and Terry where in the kitchen talking about local yogurt shops, meanwhile, Rosa was at her desk as Jake walked into the bullpen holding an envelope.

"Attention, everyone! Say good-bye to the Jake Peralta you know and love, for today is the day I forever change." Jake smiled.

Amy perked up out of her seat, "Ooh, are you finally growing a mustache?" Her face lit up.

"No, you know I can't do that, and it's cruel of you to keep bringing it up," Jake replied before turning back to the crew. "This envelope contains the inheritance my uncle left me. He died a year ago; he was so rich, he had a whole room in his house just to eat in."

"You mean like a dining room?" Gina raised her brows.

"Yeah, but in Manhattan."

"Oh, dang." Gina marveled.

"Now, just because I'm definitely rich now doesn't mean I'm gonna forget my roots. You all get something, so fire away." Jake gestures around the group.

"Jake, your friendship is gift enough for me." Charles beamed placing his hands on his hips.

"Friendship is crap. I want a Ducati Monster 821." Rosa chimed in.

"But, that has a big enough seat for two people. Who are you gonna take on a ride?" Jake scrunched up his face as he taps on his lower lip trying to convince Rosa to take him on a ride.

Rosa's eyes darted to Y/N and back. "No one." She pursed her lips before taking a sip out of her mug.

"Fine. All right, Rosa gets a motorcycle." Jake smiled pointing to Rosa.

"Oh, cool. I want a fast sports car." Amy clasped her hands under her chin as she smiled away at Jake.

"Come on. You can be honest."

"I want old, expensive books. I'll send you a list." Amy said quickly before pressing her lips together.

"There you go. Now, let's find out what I'm worth." Jake waved around the yellow envelope. "Oh, I'm too nervous to open it. Sarge, you do it." He bit his lip as he passed the envelope to Terry.

"Okay." Terry opened the envelope to reveal a white piece of paper. "It's stock. One million shares!" He read as the crew goes wild.

"Oh, my God!" Jake beamed.

"Of Blockbuster Video stock." Terry continued as Jake's expression deflates causing the rest of the crew to go back to their desks in disappointment.

"What? Is that bad? I still have a Blockbuster card! What happened to Blockbuster?" Jake's brows drew together as he looks around for an answer.
