"Thanks everybody, for coming out to Hitchcock's divorce party," Scully said to the group with a smile as Hitchcock sat there with the opposite emotion.

"Why's the cake two men getting married?" Rosa piped up as she pointed to the rainbow cake that was seated in front of her.

"That's me and Hitchcock. The boys are back together." Scully chimed.

"This cake is for a gay wedding." Holt pointed out. "The inside is a rainbow." He lifted up a slice and showed it to the men.

"I'm pretty sure that Rosa and I had the exact same cake." Y/N pointed out.

"Nuh-uh. It's my favorite flavor. All the flavor." Scully explained to everyone as Y/N, Rosa, and Holt all trade a look of confusion.

"I can't believe Bethany's gone. It was so out of the blue." Hitchcock lowered his head with a frown.

"Not entirely. I mean, she did have an affair with her hairdresser, and you filmed it, threatened to release the tape, then she said she did care, and put it on the internet herself, and then, when it made money, you sued her for half the profits." Jake recalled from a recent discussion.

"And then boom. Out of the blue. Divorce papers." Hitchcock added.

"Aw, buddy, you'll be okay." Scully comforted his friend.

"It doesn't feel like it! My heart is ruined forever." Hitchcock sulked. "I'm done with love! I'll never find anyone as--" His eyes locked onto a woman. "Oh, my God. Get a load of the can on her." He pointed out before standing up. "See you, dorks. I'm gonna get some."

"Well, Hitchcock still sucks."

It was the next day after Hitchcocks' divorce party, now at Jake's desk Amy and him were discussing what the 'Jake way is' as Holt strolled into Terry's office, "Lieutenant, as you know, I've been walking the same beat for the past three weeks. It's become a bit... tedious." Holt mentioned.

"I thought you loved tedium."

"I love monotony. They're very different."

"I'm sorry. But you know our policy is that uniformed officers must walk the same beat for six months. It's how they come familiar with the community they serve." Terry explained as Holt stood there uninterested.

"Surely you can make an exception for me."

"I can't play favorites. You didn't when you were in charge."

"Of course I did."

"Really? I never got any special treatment."

"I think you can do the math there." Holt pointed out as Terry realized.
