Chapter 14 (End)

I wake up shouting, covered in sweat. I start pulling at my hair, hiding my face in my knees. I can hear the sickening sound of the man's voice, yelling at me. Every time I close my eyes I see him, the man that has haunted me since I was five. I feel a hand on my shoulder and flinch backing away quickly. "D-don't h-hurt me, please!" I shout falling off the bed and hitting my head on the floor.

"Keegan! It's Robin." I hear someone shout but I can't focus on anything but my own heart beating rapidly and the pounding in my head.

"D-don't touch m-me! No touching!" I yell as my gaze flicks around the room.

"Do you want me to get Eli?" I hear and nod my head rapidly.

"Eli good, want Eli." I say pulling at my hair again. I look around frantically trying to see Eli, but don't find him. "Where's Eli?!" I whimper tugging at my hair desperately trying to feel something, anything. I hear a door slam and shrink in on myself trying to look as small as possible.

"Keeg, can you hear me?" I hear someone whisper and nod starting to feel my tics start. "It's Eli, can I touch you?" I nod again and feel him gently pry my hands away from my hair. I start to relax when Eli starts playing with my hair, saying soothing words to me. "Is this okay?" He asks and I nod looking up at him and starting to see things more clearly. Once I can fully comprehend what just happened I start sobbing and launch myself into his arms. "I've got you now love, you're safe." I hear him whisper and I whimper against his neck.

"S-sorry... 'm sorry" I mumble still shaking.

"Don't apologize Keeg" Eli says gently playing with my hair. "Want to come to my room?" Eli asks and when I nod he helps me up.

"I-I'm s-sorry Robin" I stutter not looking at her. I feel her place a hand on my shoulder saying

"It's okay Keeg, now get some sleep." I nod again and follow Eli to his room across the hall. Once we are inside I sit on his bed, and notice my hands are twitching.

"It's h-happening a-again Eli..." I mutter trying to stop my hands from moving. Eli instinctively reaches over and holds my hands, stopping the spasm almost immediately. I feel a wave of comfort washing over me and squeeze his hand, showing I'm slowly feeling better.

"Are you okay with this?" He asks and I snap my head up nodding.

"Y-yeah it h-helps." I respond and motion for him to sit with me. He does and I lay my head on his shoulder whispering. "T-thanks for b-being here for me Eli." Eli smiles gently at me whispering back.

"I will always be here for you Keegan, no matter what." I pull my hands out of his grasp and wrap my arms around his neck instead. Eli had his arms around my waist just holding onto me tightly. "You really scared me Keeg, how come you don't get nightmares when you are with me?" Eli asked obviously confused.

I just shrug mumbling "I feel s-safe when your with me." I feel him pull me closer to him and I nuzzle my face into the crook of his neck.

"You tired again Keeg?" Eli asks as he plays with my hair. I nod and squeal when he pulls the both of us down onto his bed, me on top of him. I smile and rest my head on his chest, hands gripping onto the front of his shirt. Eli just holds me, his chin on top of my head. I place my head over his heart, his heart beat lulling my to sleep almost instantly.

"Night....Eli...." I murmur. Even when I am so tired I heard Eli say.

"Sleep well Keeg, I love you." I fall asleep with a smile on my face, completely content.

"Wake up sleepy heads." I feel someone shaking me and I groan, clutching the pillow tighter. I hide my face in the pillow and feel it breath- WAIT WHY CAN MY PILLOW BREATHE?! My eyes immediately snap open and that's when I notice I am laying on top of an awake Eli.
