It was another casual day, roaming around, scavenging for food. Mother died a year ago of illness, Father abandoned mother and I about two years ago. 'I HATE THAT MEN'. I've been surviving by stealing and eating garbage. Tomarrow is my fifth birthday, The best present I could ever have is to see my mother once again. But, stuff like these never come true.
I woke up with a loud noise coming from my stomach, feeling hungry, I thought I would go steal some food. But today wasn't the best day for me. As I went inside the store, 4 grown teen came up to me.
Teen 1: look, It's that kid that stole my dad food last time.
Teen 2: He's in serious trouble right now.
Teen 3 and 4: "pounding of their fist" This is going to be fun, beating up a little rat.
I try apologize to them but they wouldn't listen to me. After they started walking towords me, my fear came out and I started running as fast that I can, far away from them as possible. I ran into the alleyway and the teens were still following me. Little do I know, the alleyway has a dead end. Before coming to a stop one of the teen pushed me and I fell.
Teen 1: " Angry face" you thought, you were going get away this time, you dirty rat.
Teen 2: Can we kill this rat now?
Teen 1: yeah, no one would care about this rat.
So the teen started beating the crap out of me. I was almost passed out, until I heard something.
Old Man POV
I saw a kid getting kicked and jerked around like some soccer ball, and that enraged me, I had to do something.
Old Man: Hey kids, want me to teach you an old lesson called ass whooping? You know 4 vs 1 isn't fair and plus he's a little kid.
Teen 1: Shut up old man, you don't tell me what to do.
Old Man: I think I can
Teen 1: Get him guys!!!
NO ONE POV
As Y/N was passed out, the old man in his mid 50s taught those teen some lesson. After the teens got their ass whoop, they ran while crying away from the scene, never to be heard from again. The old man picked up Y/N and take him to his house to treat him.
Y/N POV
I woke up in a bed with a painful headache. While, looking around I saw the door open. It was an old man, he came back with some kind of medicine.
Old Man: Here kid, take this and you will feel better in no time.
Y/N: Thanks, but why are you helping me?
Old Man: You remind me of myself when I was younger, getting beat up, not knowing how to fight, me and my friend from Tamriel named Gerald fought with eachother, self taught I would say.
Y/N: Who are you?
Old Man: My name is Julius and I'm a retire general from the Dominius Clan.

Y/N POV
I was running away from a 50 foot snake. I could see Julius just staring at me in a far distance.
Julius: Hey kid, stay strong and cut off that snake head to kill it.
I stop and looked back at the snake while it was coming towards me. I started running towards the snake, as it got closer, I jumped up and in a instance the snake head be as gone. That was the most terrifying moment in my life.
Julius: Congrats kid, you have finished the last trianing.
Y/N: What do you mean
Julius: What I mean is that, you need to go adventure out the world and become stronger yourself.
Y/N: If I have to do that to become stronger, then I guess this is goodbye.
Julius: Don't worry kid, I'm sure I will get to see you again in the future
Y/N: thanks for everything Julius
NO ONE POV
Y/N packed up his bag and was ready to say goodbye. Julius give a big goodbye hug to Y/N.
Julius: before you go, I need to tell you something
Y/N: What is it?
Julius: If you want to become the strongest, you will have to slay these powerful monster. Only the best can succeed. Your first monster is going to be " The Man Eating Giant" up North, Then to the east of that you'll have to defeat "The Alpha", Which is the werewolf king. After that you have go South to face the "Vampire Lord". Then you'll have to go to the Dead Sea to kill the "World Serpent". The last monster you'll have to face is the "Dragon King" which is the strongest monster in the Land Of Serenity....oh yeah, I almost forgot, you have this power that, if you kill a monster you take their power. I started noticing when you were young and when you kill a monster, it energy flew into your body. It was pretty weird.
Y/N: and you're telling me this now!
Julius: sorry for keeping this a secret.... I thought if I let you knew this early on, you'll just be going around trying to kill monsters and get yourself kill
Y/N: no wonder when I kill the snake, my body was feeling weird.
Julius: Well I think you better be going now
Y/N: ok then *give him another goodbye hug and left the house*
