Chapter 4

Jimin's POV

"Who's that?" A girl with long brown hair asked with the bitchiest glare I'd ever received in my life.

"Everyone, this is Park Jimin, he's been staying here with me for a few days and I've decided I want him to live here. He is Human as I'm sure you've all realised already. But he's mine." Yoongi introduced me and spat the last sentence darkly.

I briefly flicked my eyes around the room to look at everyone and one girl really caught my eye. I was sure I recognised her from somewhere.

I realised I must have let my eyes linger for too long when she frowned at me, stood up and left the room.

"He's yours huh? Well why're you keeping him here with all of us then, surely you should know we're gonna want some." A man with bright red hair winked at me making my heart race.

"Okay Yoongi you've made enough of a scene, now can we all sit and eat, and just ignore the human. Respect Yoongi's property."

One man I hadn't got a good look at until he spoke was sat at the far end of the table. His dark silverfish grey hair was pushed up out of his eyes and he had tattoos covering his arms and hands.

I noticed as he spoke that he had his fangs out, to pretend that didn't terrify me was very difficult. I assumed, since he addressed everyone and they all seemed to listen, that he was somehow in charge here.

"Thank you Namjoon-Hyung, I agree, let's eat. Come on Jimin." Yoongi grabbed my hand and led me to a seat that was beside him, on my other side however, the chair was empty.

Until a few moments later when Jungkook entered the room, apologised for being late and took the seat beside me.

"I see you've all met the human." He then questioned the rest of the vampires as though I wasn't sat right beside him, "Jungkook we're done with that topic just eat." The supposed leader spoke without even sparing Jungkook a glance, to which he quietly apologised and began to eat the steak in front of him.

I was reluctant to begin eating, worried that it was some sort of human meat or if it was laced in blood, but Yoongi reassured me by quietly murmuring into my ear "I promise you it's just a normal steak, we still need to eat too you know." He chuckled slightly and gave me a small smile.

I took a bite and it did indeed just taste like a very well cooked steak.

After everyone had finished eating in silence, a lot of people left the room, Jungkook and the scariest man included. However, Yoongi continued to sit and talk to the blonde man beside him.

I stayed put not wanting to leave Yoongi's side, although I wasn't expecting any conversation. Which is why I was so startled when another blonde man came and sat in the seat beside me, where Jungkook had previously sat to eat.

"Hi Jimin! I'm Taehyung, it's nice to meet you!" He spoke enthusiastically with this huge box shaped grin on his face.

I was shocked by his open and joyful attitude, he was nothing like anyone else in the building, "oh, hello Taehyung. You are a vampire too right?" I had to question it due to the differences between him and the rest.

"Of course silly, I am the youngest here though, I'm 18, how old are you?" He asked while leaning his elbow on the table and resting his chin in the palm of his hand.

"Ah, I'm 19. But it's nice to meet you too, I just had to ask since you seem so much nicer than everyone else... They all seem to hate me already." I sighed slightly, I had a small part in me that just hoped everyone would like me and want to talk to me.

But I'm glad Taehyung is here, I feel like if I am stuck forever then he will at least be a friend I can talk to.

"Oh, thank you, but trust me it's nothing personal, a lot of the others have just had bad experiences with humans so choose to dislike them all. I don't think that's fair though, just because one person is bad doesn't mean everyone else is. And I feel like you're nice Jiminie." He grinned again and I couldn't help the big grin appearing on my face.
