Chapter 25

3rd Person POV

Jungkook did come back to pick Jimin up, it was a bit risky this time since when Jimin was saying goodbye to his parents they actually saw him off from the door for once...

Jimin had to wave and start walking in the direction of his best friend's house, until they finally both went back inside and Jungkook came out from- wherever he'd been hiding- to sprint him all the way to the vampire house.

"Jeez Jiminie they're getting more and more protective and paranoid... what are we gonna do?" Jungkook sighed as they reached the house, "I don't know... I feel like, after they meet you, they'll get distracted somehow, like having something else big happening in my life will take their mind off of it." Jimin shrugged and the vampire nodded with a grin.

"About that Jagiya~ Namjoon said that because of everything- as much as he kinda sorta hates me for letting this situation get this risky in the first place- he said that I should meet your parents." Jungkook looked just as excited as the smaller boy, he was of course nervous too but just seeing the happiness on his boyfriend's face helped his nerves dissipate.

"I'm so glad, I'm sure they'll love you guk-Ah, just be yourself- minus the blood sucking fangs..." he chuckled slightly and Jungkook nodded, pulling him through the bedroom door. "I just hope I don't mess up, your dad is literally our enemy by this point Jimin. Of course that's not going to stop me trying to befriend my boyfriend's dad but, it just makes this so weird and difficult."

Jimin already had a small pout on his face at the words, he was looking down to the floor in shame of his father before Jungkook pulled his chin up gently, "hey this has nothing to do with you okay? Don't start feeling guilty again." He reassured softly, looking into Jimin's sad eyes.

"But it is to do with me Jungkook it literally is my fault- I fell in love with you, and I whine about seeing you all the time, I practically guilt-tripped you into coming to the dance which made my parents find out- and I know who my dad is yet I was still pushing for us to tell them anyway!" Jimin huffed, plonking himself down onto Jungkook's bed angrily and the vampire couldn't hold back a small laugh at the tiny human looking all mad.

"Jiminie, you're forgetting that I fell in love with you too... you can't take all the blame when the feeling is mutual, all I wanna do is see you, I chose to come to the dance- you didn't make me. Besides, yes you wanted to tell your parents but none of that matters anyway since they found out in a completely different way. So Jiminie, don't feel guilty, please?" He cooed sweetly and kissed Jimin's temple.

The smaller boy did one last exaggerated sigh before nodding, "fine, you're right, but I still feel bad, even if it wasn't entirely me it's partly me and I feel some responsibility over how my parents are reacting too, maybe if I could lie more convincingly or just find a way to tell the truth but be super convincing that nothing was wrong... ugh I just wish they wouldn't hate you."

Jimin's eyes were looking up at Jungkook with such adoration that the vampire felt his chest squeeze, "Jiminie I don't care if they hate me, I promise you it's not important to me, of course everything would be great if we could all get along like a big happy family but I think we accepted that wasn't possible when you fell in love with a vampire huh?" He laughed and Jimin rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, I guess any parents would automatically jump to conclusions and do all the pointless worrying that mine are, and they don't even know the whole truth yet. Why are parents so dumb, I'm not a kid anymore I'm not stupid, it's not like you're mind controlling me or I'm naive enough to think we're in love when you're actually just using me- that's honestly what they'd think and it's such bullshit."

"Yah Jagiya, calm down it's okay. You know I love you, and I know you love me, let's just stop worrying about all this for now yeah? Just enjoy tonight where we can actually be together without any fears okay?" He ran his hands through Jimin's hair soothingly and the blonde boy sighed but nodded.
