Jimin's POV
School started again, it'd been just over a week since I'd told Jungkook I forgave him. But now having to go back to school meant much less time to sneak off to see him and the others.
Besides, only my closest friends even knew Jungkook existed, I had to keep him a secret from everyone else. I had dance class again today, I'd see Taemin for the first time since his party.
Part of me wanted to just make up some lie about how I met a boy from a different school over summer and we were together. However, Jungkook had made it clear Namjoon didn't want to risk even a fake Jungkook being introduced.
It made sense, it was just annoying. The moment I arrived at dance class Taemin was already grinning and waving in my direction. I couldn't exactly just ignore him so I of course returned the gesture, making my way toward him to say hello.
"How have you been Jimin? Were you alright after my party?" He immediately questioned and I nodded, "I just needed a good sleep I'm sure, I was fine the next day so don't worry. I hope you had a good summer." I smiled before Hoseok caught my eye across the room.
"I did thank you, how was yours, anything exciting happen?" He asked and wiggled his eyebrows suggestively, "Uh- not really, just spent time with my friends." I shrugged before waving to Hoseok, "speaking of friends I should go say hi to that doofus." I gestured in his direction and Taemin nodded slightly.
"Of course, I hope we spend more time together this term Jimin-Ah." He grinned and I gulped thickly, getting that same awkward feeling of not knowing what the right thing to say is, "m-me too." I stuttered out before bowing my head slightly and rushing off toward my best friend.
"Yah what was that all about, you seem so scared around Taemin." Hobi scrunched his nose at me and I frowned, "it's not my fault! I don't know how I'm supposed to act around him, he's always flirting with me and I just don't know how to get him to stop."
"Well just be honest, you don't have to have a boyfriend to not be interested in someone." He shrugged and I sighed, "but Hyung... I don't like confrontation, and he's a nice guy I wouldn't know how to say it." I pouted and whined making Hoseok sigh and shove me gently.
"Chill out, you don't have to say anything unless he actually asks you out anyway so stop worrying, just enjoy dance." I nodded slightly at his advice before looking back over to the root of my problems, he was already looking my way.
He blushed slightly as if embarrassed to have been caught staring, before he smiled and looked away.
"Ah... it's too awkward Hoseokkie..." I grumbled and buried my head in my hands, "quit whining Jimin-Ah I have no more advice for you so just-"
"Attention class!" He was cut off as our dance instructor entered the room, I shot up from my slouching position and everyone immediately stopped talking to face her at the front of the room.
"Hm- not bad for your first day back. I hope you all kept stretching regularly over the summer, can't be wasting time re-training your bodies now." Our instructor raised an eyebrow, scanning the room.
I mean considering how busy the summer had been I managed to stretch enough to not lose my abilities completely...
"This term will be majorly focussing on pair dancing- yah! Before you all start squealing and rushing to your friends, I have already paired you based on your ability and style of dance." My heart dropped.
Hoseok and I dance very differently... Kai and I are a little similar but he still has more of a hip-hop feel than I do... and I don't really know anybody else.
