The honks of impatient drivers echoed through the bustling streets of Melbourne city centre. Dense fumes of pastries and and fried batter wafted around as the market stalls atracted many customers. Many of the public consisted of holiday makers insisting on snapping every shot of Melbourne with their million dollar cameras, while others fumbled around each stall in search of bargains. The girls gazed in awe at the masses of designer clothing, handbags and shoes at such affordable prices.

"I have an Idea guys!" Lucie perked up while passionately working her way round the vast supplies of dresses. "Y'know that under 18s club night at liquid, Skip mentioned? Yeah well I say we buy some dresses and have a night out, maybe meet some hot Australian boys" She continued, holding up a fetching red dress.

"Great idea! and wow Lucie that dress is stunning! Come on girls lets go!" Tara squeled while delving into a rack of dresses.  Within ten minutes Tara appeared with two equally gorgeous dresses, unsure which one to choose. Eventually she opted for the purple one to match the black and purple lace heels she had tried on this morning.

Amy's enthusiam got the better of her as she pulled out dress after dress desperate to try them all on. "Oh which one?" She queried desperately. Suddenly and tall, dark haired woman appeared from behind the rails, instantly she saw how Amy was struggling to find a dress so rushed to her aid. "Well dear, the first thing to think about is the colour!, You have such startling green eyes and beautiful dark brown hair, so I'm thinking a nice green dress? Any shade would be amazing on you with that gorgeous olive skin you have!" The woman replied while pulling out the perfect dress.

"Ohmygod! I love it! thanks so much! How Much is it?" Amy squeled while swishing the dress from side to side.

"It's on sale for only $15!" The woman replied happily while accepting Amy's cash and baggaging the dress. "You sound like your Welsh, am I right?" She asked.

"Yes haha How did you guess? Most people would have said England" Amy answered in surprise.

"Oh don't you worry, i know my British countires very well, most of my family live there now"

"Haha thats really cool! Anyone I better go find some shoes for this dress thanks again!" Amy skipped her away across to the shoe stall to look at some heels.

Over in the far corner, Shauna stared intently on a few blue dresses, until she came across a pretty navy one in the corner. "Excuse me, how much is this?" She asked hopeful.

"$150 originally but it's last season's fashion so It's now done to $45 and we will throw in a pair of pastel heels." The woman replied.

Shocked by her luck, Shauna quickly grabbed the dress and handed it over the counter along with the free pair of coral pink heels. "I'll take these please" She beamed as the woman put her dress in a bag along with the shoes.

"Omg your dress is so pretty!" "I love these shoes!" "That looks so good on you!" Can't wait til tonight!"

The girls gossiped continuely about their dresses and the other items they had bought on their shopping spree. Everyone loved each other's dresses and couldnt wait to get them on for going out that night. As the train drew into the platform back home, it had now reached arounf 6pm and hunger was now on their minds.

"Um where can you actually eat in Melbourne?" Amy asked while peeking at her dress for the 15th time.

"MCDONALDS!" Tara screamed, while pointing over to the fastfood restaurant across the road, its neon yellow 'M' was hardly missable.

"So we travel over a thousand miles, just to eat at a McDonalds? Right..LETS GO!" Shauna replied sarcastically as they all paraded over to grab something to eat before getting dolled up for the night ahead.
