Falling Down Under

Chapter 7.

15 minutes had passed and suddenly now, Tara realised Amy was no longer with her. She scanned the crowds woundering where her friend had got to when she instantly spotted her across the room, talking to a group of young girls. Urggh she could have told me she was leaving, so I didnt look like such an idiot. Tara thought to herself. As she began to march her way towards Amy she felt a firm hand on her shoulder almost hold her back.

"OHMYGOD GET OFF!" Tara practically screamed, but luckily her noise was drowned out by the ear blowing music.

"Wooaah calm down girl, you the one about to walk right in front of us filming thanks." The guy replied while physically pushing Tara to the side. 

"Eh...that gives you no right to physically man-handle me thanks, you could have asked." Tara protested while staying rooted to the spot with her arms folded- right in front of the boy's camera.

He gave a light chuckle as he addressed Tara once more. "You sound foreign, but its kinda cool, I'm Jai." He said while anticipating a responce.

"Excuse me? Was that mean't to be as offensive as it soun..." Tara instantly cut off. "Did you just say you were Jai? as in Jai Brooks? As in from the Janoskians jai? As in.."

"Alright woman, congratulations you sussed me out, stop being so weird." Jai answered slightly taken aback.

"This is actually unreal! what do you mean I sussed you out? Why were trying to pretend to be someone else?" Tara squealed, her heart racing at the thought of talking to Jai Brooks.

"I was pretending to be Mr Sarcasm." He sarcastically repsonded. "Anyway whats your name?"

"Tara." Tara answered quickly.

"Ohmygod Tara! As in Tara with the purple dress? As in tara with the foreign accent? As in Tara who wont move out the way of my camera?" Jai joked.

"Shut up Jai!" Tara replied with a grin on her face. She didn't want to admit how cute Jai was when he was being sarcastic. "So what are you filming?" Tara peered around the camera lens.

"Oh just a video for Keek." he replied while scratching the back of his head.

"What the hell? I'd understand if it was a Janoskian video you were filming but all that fuss for a 37 second Keek video!?" Tara scorned.

"Calm down. lets put it this way, if you hadnt interupted my Keek filiming then we would never have met" Jai said complacently.

Tara couldn't believe what he had just said. Was he intending they were now friends? She sure hoped so. "So um...are we like friends now?" Tara asked axiously.

"If you want haha, anyway I need to find Luke, give me your number and I'll text you sometime yeah?" He replied.

Tara's heart raced as she pulled out her phone and saved Jai's number into her contacts. 

"Oh ho ho check you are your iPhone!" Jai teased, while saving Tara's number into his own iPhone. "Well looks like someone got lucky tonight." Jai randomly stated.

Tara-thinking it was her he was talking about, grew a huge smile on her face only to be met my Jai looking right past her into the crowds. Turning around Tara, sure enough Tara noticed Luke. However he wasn't alone, his arms were wrapped around a pretty brunnette girl in a long navy blue dress.  Shauna? She thought to herself as Luke made his way towards where Tara and Jai stood.

"Sorry bro, got caught up a bit" Luke confessed while awkwardly fumbling around with his hands.

"A bit? You were all over her Luke! and damn she's hot." Jai teased, making Luke feel even more awkward.

"Yeah and she's mine, anyway have you filmed it or not?" Luke said, quickly changing the subject. 

Tara looked down at the ground, knowing she had prevented Jai from doing so and also felt a bit disappointed that Luke had called Shauna 'hot'. "Well he was but I kind of got in the way. I'll go leave you to get on" Tara eventually blurted out, slowly edging her way from between Luke and Jai.

"Oh no Tara you should stay, its nothing serious were just trying to film Beatrice." Luke urged, while setting up the camera.

Looking round, Tara noticed a young girl- around 14 years old. Gyrating and thrusting to Justin Bieber's song 'Boyfriend'. Her small, childish frame was dressed in a sparkly hot-pink body hugging dress. Her face morphed into many 'sexual' expressions as she erotically moved her body in time to the music. "What.The.Fuck." Tara asked slightly disturbed.

Luke and Jai practically fell on the floor laughing at her responce and at 'Beatrice'. When jai eventually contained himself, he turned to Tara and replied to her statement. " Haha, thats Beatrice -our cousin. We had to take her to this club because she was desperate to go and so we are filming her for Keek." He could barely make out the sentance he was laughing so hard.

"What kind cousins you are...anyway I better go find the other girls, theyll be woundering where i am" Tara hastily replied.

"Other girls? Damn can i come with you please?" Another voice requested.

"OHMYGOD Beau!" Tara squealed with delight. "Yeah sure, but it would appear Shauna is taken so we'll have to find the others" Tara replied while leading Beau into the crowds, and throwing Shauna a dirty look as they passed her.

Shauna threw back a look that said 'Told you I wasn't lieing'. "Leave it Shauna, i'm on a girl hunt with  Beau." Realising how wrong that sounded Tara rushed off with Beau into the masses of girls that stood in front of them. One of which was Lucie.
