A/N: I was gonna just call Crutchie, Charlie, but as it turns out I hate that so heres my baby Crutchie.
It was March. It was Spring. Love was in the air. Jack Kelly awoke early that morning, his heart just about beating out of his chest. The sun had yet to rise and stars still dotted the skies, nearly fading as dark turned to light.
The hotel room was nicer than Jack had expected to afford. It was right by Disneyland, close enough that Crutchie didn't have to worry about how to move his wheelchair around before they got to Disney. He was relieved at this fact, as he felt it was a sign that everything else would go well for them during this trip as well.
Jack stretched his arms out, yawning before turning to see the boy lying next to him, who slept peacefully at his side. Crutchie was everything, lying there, in that moment. Jack wanted today to be the best day it could be. It had to be absolutely perfect.
Jack got up carefully, as to not wake Crutchie, and started to make tea in the coffee pot. He poured a large cup of tea and walked towards the bed, setting the mug on the nightstand.
"Baby..." Jack whispered softly, placing a kiss to Crutchie's temple.
Crutchie groaned, scrunching up his nose. "No..." He said softly, turning away and pulling the blankets tighter around him.
Jack chuckled, shaking him. "C'mon, baby, we've got a big day ahead." He carefully took the blankets off of Crutchie, who whined in protest.
"The sun still isn't even up." Crutchie whined, turning to Jack with a pout.
"Let's watch the sunrise together, baby?" Jack questioned, kissing Crutchie's cheek and wrapping him in his arms. "Please?"
Crutchie smiled and nodded slowly, sitting up. "Okay...kiss?" He mumbled, pursing his lips.
Jack leaned into Crutchie, lightly kissing his lips. "I made you tea."
Crutchie's eyes widened in excitement and he couldn't help but give a small cheer. "Yay!"
"I knew you would like that." Jack carefully handed Crutchie the mug, helping him sit up. "Its still hot, angel, be careful."
Crutchie nodded, sipping at the tea. "Thank you, Jacky." He beamed. "H-Help me into my chair?"
Jack nodded, getting up from the bed and sliding Crutchie's wheelchair to the bed. "Of course, hun." He took the mug from Crutchie and helped him into the chair, making sure he was comfortable. "All good?"
"All good." Crutchie nodded, taking Jack's hand. "I love you."
"I love you, too. God, I do. You know that?" Jack questioned, pushing Crutchie's chair to the door, outside to watch the sunrise.
Crutchie giggled, happily looking out towards the sky. "Of course I know that, Jack."
"Good." Jack watched as Crutchie looked at the sky with wonderment. No matter how many times they had watched the sunrise together, Crutchie always looked happy to watch.
"You know every sunrise is different, Jack? I want them all to feel different. Special."
"Your bedhead is cute." Jack laughed, kissing Crutchie's cheek.
Crutchie blushed, shaking his head. "I thought you wanted to watch the sunset, not me."
Jack placed his lips gently onto Crutchie's neck. "You're more interesting, so sue me."
Crutchie pushed Jack away with a laugh and kissed his cheek. "You're such a dork. What's got you all love-y this morning?"
"I just love you is all." Jack shrugged, placing a hand on Crutchie's cheek.
