third person; an min-ju focus {naporia, alternate universe}

walking to the usual cafe where min-ju meets her friends everyday at 10am she noticed that it seemed eerily quiet. normally it is quieter at the weekends than during the week, however to her it seemed more quiet than usual.

her soft footsteps where to only thing that could be heard. she checked her pocket watch that she always carried alongside her pocketknife and saw the time to be 9:38am. great, she thought to herself, I'm way too early. she arrived swiftly at the cafe on the corner.

it was a small cafe with more rustic vibes, and it most probably had live music on at all times. the owners husband, known to some as loey but to most as park chanyeol, was always seen sat on a stool on the corner playing his guitar. he only seemed to do it at weekends though, because during the week he volunteered around different areas of the town doing odd jobs or resting.

his husband, byun baekhyun, was the owner of this small cafe that the three friend seemed to meet at everyday at 10am. he had noticed this and had started reserving them their usual table almost half an hour before they arrived to make sure that they were able to sit down.

after min-ju's parents disappeared she had began coming to the cafe to cheer herself up. somehow over the past five years she had been visiting the cafe it seemed as if the owners had decided to become substitute parents if there was ever a situation that called for it. baekhyun was there to listen to all her problems, and chanyeol taught her some things she may find useful in the future. as well as training her how to defend herself.

walking into the cafe min-ju plodded over to her usual table and sat down. the sweet smell of the baked goods that they sold was intoxicating. after coming everyday you could say that she was addicted.

"oh, min-ju?" baekhyun saw one of his favourite customers arriving just over twenty minutes early, and was confused to say the least. at first he thought that something bad had happened, but in reality it was quite the opposite. min-ju had managed to make two valuable new friends in one day.

"hello baekhyun!" she smiled while talking, which honestly creeped the cafe owner out. "are you okay?" he asked, wanting to make sure no one was hurting his child. well she wasn't his child, but he sure treated her like she was. "you arriving before your friends? this isn't like you." baekhyun was about to keep talking, but he heard a customer shouting from behind him to get his attention.

he sighed before turning around and serving whatever the customer wanted at that point in time. min-ju giggled slightly before getting up to make herself a drink. another thing she had learned over the years was how to make every drink on the menu. so at this point she was quite skilled.

after sitting down again with her drink she heard the bell at the door ring and two customers walk inside. she was expecting to see her friend walking into the cafe but was surprised to instead see two gang members. black hats, masks and outfits. there was only one gang who walked around in that, and they were ateez

she turned away sipping on her drink and checking the time once more, 9:53am, her friends should be here any minute. over at the counter the two ateez members seemed to be ordering drinks, then once that had collected them sat down at a table in the corner.

at exactly 10am the bell rang and in walked san-ha and ja-jung. "an min-ju!!" ja-jung screamed, scaring everyone who was sitting in the small cafe and even catching the attention of the two gang members in the corner.

"hey hwang ja-jung, yoon san-ha!" min-ju responded giggling slightly as she did so. at this point everyone had went back to whatever they were doing before being interrupted, well all except the ateez members who were currently eyeing min-ju and her friends as if they were criminals of some kind.
