valentines special <3

happy valentines!!!

or late valentines if you are reading this afterwards!

this is going to have a short story in it not related to the storyline!!

you can imagine as whatever member you want or whoever you want!

enjoy : )) {this will also be quite short sorry}

third person;

waking up to the smell of roses as light creeped in through the still closed curtains, was a small surprise. it was even more surprising when there were no roses to be able to source the smell. getting up out of the large king sized bed you walked slowly over to the door looking out to the hallway and finding the source of the smell of roses.

the hallway was littered with rose petals leading all the way into the living area of you and your significant other's shared house. you and them seemed to always get along really well and so decided to get a small house together. it wasn't the best but was satisfactory.

you walk slowly through the hallway, trying not to get the petals stuck to the bottom of your foot. your smile spread across your face, happy with the place you were in. as you then arrived at the living room you were greeted by your partner in the living room.

"good morning," they said with a warm smile, holding out a chair in the small dining area you had for you to sit at. you walked over smiling at them before sitting in the chair and asking "what is this?" the smile never leaving your face.

"I made breakfast, our favourite." they said. you looked down to find that it was indeed your favourite breakfast. you had both agreed on a favourite breakfast made up of many foods from around the world.

"thank you," you replied, waiting for your partner to sit down so that you could begin eating. while you both ate you talked about anything and everything that came to mind. you had a perfect healthy relationship where you were incredibly comfortable with each other.

after finishing the breakfast your partner spoke up while you were both clearing away the dishes. "go and get dressed, I'm taking you for a day out." they smiled at you causing almost a chain reaction of you smiling back. "okay," came your reply and you went to get dressed into an outfit that you found comfortable.

after successfully choosing an outfit you walked back into the living area where they were waiting patiently for you. they grabbed your hand after you had got some shoes on and walked out the door. "let's go."

you both walked hand in hand down the side of the road, seemly walking to nowhere leaving you question where you were going. you walked in a comfortable silence enjoying each others company and both stealing glimpses of the other even now and again.

eventually it started raining, which was slightly peculiar as the weatherman had said that it would be nice all day. instead of running to find shelter or trying to avoid getting wet, you and your partner just smiled at each other before breaking out into a small game of tag.

you both ran around in the rain giggling at each other and somehow you had found you way into a park where you game continued. you eventually became quite breathless and almost tripped over a small rock, but before you could fall to the ground, your partner was able to catch you with their hand around your waist looking deep into your eyes.

you both held eye contact for a few seconds before you both lost you balance and fell to the floor, leading you both into a fit of laughter. you got up and held your hand out to help your partner back up but they just pulled you back down and you fell on top of them.

this made your cheeks turn a tinge red you both stayed there like that for e few moments before realising that it was still raining and  you were both on the floor in the middle of a park.

you got up, walking into the nearest cafe to try and dry off before continuing with your day. it conveniently happened to be the place you both had your first date with each other.

you both walked excitedly to the very same table you sat at and recreated how awkward you were when you first met each other. causing a few giggles to erupt overtly now and again. you both talked for a while about how you had stayed together so long.

you had been together for almost 6 years since you met in school and you reminisced on the memories you had together, also talking about old friends and feeling nostalgic. you smiled to yourself both ordering the exact drinks you ordered on your first date before leaving the cafe to find it had stopped raining.

you then stumbled into an arcade not too far from the beach near where you lived. you walked around the arcade before both rushing to the dancing game. you both stood on and inserted the money to start the game. 

you had both been here countless times and your high scores were at the top of the list, labelled unbeatable by many. you both moved in sync to the music, stepping on all the correct places perfectly, having mastered every song.

a small crowd was watching your legs move almost like magic to the beats of the music, hitting every note perfectly. before both finishing, slightly flushed cheeks and out of breath.

you moved onto a few other games, winning a small plushie on one of the claw machines which you successfully named 'shiber'. satisfied with the day at the arcade you walked outside to notice that the sun was already setting.

your partner suddenly grabbed your wrist and started running pulling you along with them towards the beach, prsumably to watch the sunset.

as you ran it felt like it was only the two of you, your parter looked back at you and you smiled towards them before continuing running in the direction of the beach. luckily there was some sand to stand on and you bath took off your shoes, still wet from the rain, and ran down onto the beach.

you wrote your names in hearts on the sand before standing together watching the sunset. as you were watching you felt your partner move next to you. you turned towards them to see them pulling something out of their back pocket that looked like a small box?

you were slightly confused until they got down onto one knee and opened the box, causing you to cover your mouth that had dropped open in shock. they let it sink in for a moment before asking you a question you had been waiting to hear, "will you marry me?". as they sat waiting for your response, there was only one thing you could say.

"yes!"
