Jace woke with a start. Gasping, and out of breath. His heart running a mile a minute. He then doubled over, clutching his stomach. What he didn't realize, was that he had woken Clary up when he woke.
"Jace. Are you okay?" She asked worriedly, as she quickly sat up, and put one hand to his head, checking for a fever, and one to his back, where she rubbed in circles for comfort. He thought he could handle it, but no.
He immediately ran to the bathroom, leaving Clary behind, only to immediately release his contents into the toilet, until there was nothing left. Jace then turned on the shower, and stepped into the freezing water, clothes and all, trying to calm himself down. His head hurt like a thousand prickling pins. His heart throbbing. Then he heard a voice. But not just a voice, the angellic voice of the one he loved.
"Jace." She had seen the entire thing. He knew she had, because he had not shut the door. She was then next to him. He had been leaning against the shower to keep him upright, but was now only looking at her. Her beautiful red hair, slight dimples, and his favorite. Her mesmerizing green eyes. It was a gaze of sollace between the two. Filled with worry, and compassion. The mixture, of both her angellic green eyes, and his golden wild eyes.
