CHAPTER 3

"What are you doing here? You shouldn't be here." Pag-bulong ko habang naka-tingin sa lalaking nasa loob ng sasakyan

The guy inside the car went out and lean closer to me "I missed you, so much. Please please let me make it up to you, us." He hugged me tight as if nothing happens

Eto nanaman ako sa hindi ko maintindihang dahilan ang alam ko okay na ko pero bakit ganto? Hindi ko magawang humilaway sa mga brasong nakapulupot sa akin.

I didn't said anything in return instead I just cried, cried and cried harder until no more tears can't let out from my eyes. I'm happy and at the same hurting.

"Ba..bakit ngayon lang? ang tagal-tagal kong inantay 'to. Alam mo 'yon.." hindi ko alam kung saan na nanggaling ang mga katanungan na 'yon "pero kung panaginip lang 'to ayoko ng bumangon pa.."

"Sorry.." that's what the last thing I heard before hearing a knock coming from the door

"Ditse, you have a delivery. I'll left it in here ha. I need to go, still have class eh. Love you." Heard my brother's voice from the outside

I tried to sit and when I cupped my face I felt a liquid from my cheeks.. I cried?

And so I keep on remembering my last dream..

Sabi na eh. It's been too long since the day I had a dream with you, again... para san nanaman to? I checked the date today.

January 10? Okay now I know the reason why I dreamt about him again, kasi 10 ngayon but still don't know the reason why he needs to appear in my dream every 10th day in the calendar.

Bumangon ako sa kama ng mabigat ang nararamdaman at nag-hilamos.

My phone just beeped reminding me that tonight will be the Welcome party from Ruth's work.

I told Ruth that I still need to attend the review class that we have tonight kaya pinadala na lang nya yung dress na susuotin ko at i-pm ko na lang daw sya kung magpapasundo ako.

I decided not to tell her to fetch me, hindi namana nya kailangan gawin 'yon. Pwede naman akong bumyahe.

The rest of the day went out well. Nasa school lang ako to finish all of the requirements that I needed for the board exam at pakiramdam ko sobrang haggard ko na.

I received a text again, "Hey hey hey there. 8PM tonight. Don't disappoint me his EX-girlfriend and the best friend is looking forward to meet you hehe. Love you." I just rolled my eyes

Pag-uwi ko sa bahay I saw my parents are in the couch.

"ngayon ka na aalis diba?" dad asked me

"I need to take a shower first. Look at me sobrang haggard ko na." I laughed

I saw them smiled at me "go on. Be beautiful! Anw, we'll be leaving soon. You need to prepare your things pagka-balik mo from the party ha." Mom reminded me. I nodded as an answer to them.

I kissed the both of them at pumanik na sa kwarto ko.

Humiga muna ako sa kama bago ko maisipang mag-asikaso dahil kailangan kong mag-pahinga.

My heart won't stop skipping fast why do I feel like something bad will happen tonight?

Wag na lang kaya ako pumunta? Madami pa namang next time and madami namang bar.

Kaso hindi eh, magtatampo nanaman sakin si Ruth I already said 'yes' at namimiss ko na din 'yon dahil sa tagal na naming hindi nagkita.

Umupo ako at ginulo yung buhok ko dahil sa hindi ko maitindihan na rason bakit kailangan kong kabahan. It's just a party, what more? Diba? and times like now kailangan ko talaga ng break from stress hay nako.

"Ditse, you want me na ihatid ka na lang dun? Dad told me. Para daw hindi ka na mag-commute." He knock before entering my room

At sa di ko alam na dahilan hindi ko alam kung bakit naka-upo pa rin ako at hindi kumikilos gayong tapos namana ako mag-gayak.

My brother chuckled "you look so beautiful, ditse. Party ang pupuntahan hindi any kind of formal gatherings." He again teases me "but then I missed you looking like that kasi 'yan yung totoong ikaw. Missed those OOTD kind of yours, and Ate ruth has a taste ha." Tinitigan pa ako as if akala mo judge siya sa fashion show

I pouted "mang-asar ka pa. hindi na talaga ako aalis." Tumawa lamang siya

Biglang tumunog ang cellphone nya at sinagot niya ito. "Yes, Ate ruth? Ah si Ditse? Oo eh. Mukhang nagdadalawang isip tumuloy eh. Yes po, ihahatid ko sya dyan Dad wants to make sure the safety of Ditse eh. Sige po, bye. Salamat po." And he hanged up the call

He looked at me smiling and trying to reach my hand "let's go, Ditse?" inirapan ko muna sya bago ako tumayo at nilagay ang kamay ko sa nakalahad nyang kamay

Ang nakakapikon pa hindi na nga ako mapakali eh talagang inaalalayan pa ako na akala mo aattend ako ng JS prom at pagbaba namin naka-abang ang Dad at Mom "Seriously, guys? Is this some sort of JS prom? U guys are freaking me out." They all laughed at me

Dad put his hands to Mom's shoulder "how I wish your Ate is here too."

Mom smiled at Dad "we'll visit Ate, diba?" na parang batang sinisiguro ang promise sakanya

Dad pinched Mom's nose "ofc, darling we will."

Vince looked at me na parang nabibitteran kay Mom and Dad na syang ikinatawa ko na lang "I think we need to leave already? Nag-aantay na daw si Ate ruth eh and gumagabi na." Vince said

Mom and Dad looked at us "can't u see we're still having our moment here oh. Inaasar nga namin kayo eh." Talagang ang Daddy parang bata

Hinampas ni Mom si Dad sa braso and they both chuckled na syang ikina-poker face ko and Vince just winked at Dad. Lumapit kami sakanila to kiss them both good bye "we love you! Have fun, Lois" mom said

"I will!" while waving my hand to them

We entered the car and Vince started to drive

While we're on our way I can't stop thinking about my family how everything became so perfect again after the struggle that we had masaya ako na naging okay ang lahat at dahil sa pangyayari kanina it helped me mawala yung kaba na nararamdaman ko.

May hindi mang magandang nangyari noon kahit papano naging okay din ang lahat really ika nga nila that 'The pain you're feeling now can't compare to the Joy that will come' and it's already proven and tested you just need to always look for the brightest part of life kahit gaano ka na napapalibutan ng dark side and always trust the process that God is doing in your life.
