I'm sorry, love, to go and break your heart.
Departure was a plague upon my mind.
But I, but weak and mild, grew far apart
When matters asked for me to see. I'm blind.I'm sorry, sunshine, bringing you to dark
And taking far away your grounding rhyme.
I ended now the journey we embarked
Upon. I'll ne'er, sunshine, forget our time.It brings me pain enough to see your grace
Before my eyes, but seeing your glad grin
Through heartbreak raw I sense behind your face
So silent yet, I feel remorse within. But fourteen lines serves not my purpose to
Express my feelings, words are much too few.
