He was dressed in a silky dark black button up, with long sleeves hiding his tattoos on both arms. His jeans were fitted perfectly, with a nice pair of black boots. His hair was tousled as always, "You decided to come, what changed your mind?" He asked while trying to hide his growing smile. His eyes were a much softer green in the light. His fingers were covered with many rings, small and large ones.

I glanced behind me to see if the older woman was close enough to hear. She was still on the phone jolting down something, I faced Harry, "A long lecture," I confessed feeling a bit proud of myself making the right decision.

His leaf green eyes carefully analyzed me. "I hope I didn't cause any trouble." He was sincere, warming my heart completely.

"No, I haven't had the chance to talk to my mother yet. I think she is trying to come up with an excuse for me to not be here." I admitted, shifting my attention to the back hallway he had come from.

He followed my gaze, to see what had got my attention. He faced me again, "Shall we go to my office?" He asked lifting his chin with a flirty smile, fully aware of his intentions.

I was glowing without a doubt, all I could do was a nod. He eyed me once longer before he turned around leading the way. The hallway was long-drawn and narrow, the paint was a very faint grey accompanied by small canvas with different designs all combined to create a bigger picture. At the end of the hallway, a spacious area revealed a room full of little nooks, nobody seemed to mind us as phones rang, each conversation different about closing deals, setting up meetings. Harry paused, "Here is just a mix of my people, William's people and a few interns." He explained extending his arm out.

There were about ten desk nooks, a mixture of men and women, a couple young, majority older. "Will I be here?" I asked observing everyone, a particular desk nook caught my attention in the far back.

Harry cleared his throat, "No, you'll be close," He began to walk away leaving me there, my attention still was stolen. "Lexi," He called out my name for the first time in a while making me look at him. He had a soft smile.

I followed behind him as we entered another short hallway and two nooks outside a grand door with his name written on it. Harold Styles CEO it read. The bold letters suggested he was in fact important.

"Here would be your desk, Margo, she is my secretary has the other one," he said placing his hands in his front pockets.

There was a small nook in front of us, it looked untouched in years. There was a rolling chair tucked underneath the desk. The desk was a dove white, with black drawers underneath. A big grey computer screen was displayed in the center, accompanied by a charcoal grey lamp.

"May I?" I proposed arching an eyebrow at him.

"All your precious." He stated, giving me permission to enter the empty desk.

I took a step inside, reaching for the rolling chair. I sat sinking into the spongy cushion. "Impressive."

My eyes flickered to Harry, his eyes admired me as roleplayed answering the phone. "I don't think I'd get much work done with you just outside my door." He said with a flirty grin, adjusting one sleeve to his elbow revealing his tattoos on the left arm. A reasonably large inked rose by his elbow, with another on his forearm that had a shaded bible with the words things I cant hidden away to be forgotten.

His words flipped a switch inside me, daring to understand the meaning behind his words and break promises that I had for myself. I set the phone down and crossed my legs looking up at him. "I thought you were taking me to your office?" I teased.

His Adam apple rolled as he gulped concentrating on my legs. "I am." His voice was strained. He played with the top of the lamp, tapping his finger on it. I stole at another glance at his hand, staring at the anchor tattoo he had on his wrist. I had so many questions about his tattoos, I just didn't know if he wanted to share.
