For four days...the prince ignored me. I went to Mari unnie to visit her as I was informed about her getting better. I was supposed to see her days ago...but I was always told that the prince was there and I could never come in. That information alone made me sadder... but I always told myself that Mari unnie needs him so...

But not even a single text message...

I was about to enter the door when it opened and to my surprise, the prince stepped out, causing me to step backwards in a haste.

I bowed but refused to look at him.

"Why are you here?..."

His voice wasn't as endearing as before but not condescending as well. It was just...a normal tone. Like how he talks to others. It felt weird and my heart is breaking on the spot.

"To visit Mari u-unnie your highness..."

"Why."

"I...I want to know if she's doing okay your highness."

"Are you sure you're visiting her and not me?"

I looked up at him...

I stared into those piercing eyes and realized...

The prince doesn't like me anymore.

It took me a while before I was able to answer;

I didn't wait for him to say something. I bowed and turned around. I didn't know he was there...I would never use Mari unnie just to see him. I gently patted where my heart is. It hurts...and I could no longer see my way back to my little house. Everything suddenly became blurry. I walked in quick steps until I bumped into someone.

"Charlie, what are you-"

I quickly bowed and walked past him. I didn't bother picking up Tata... I left him. I wanted to get away from everyone. For days everyone except Miso has been giving me a cold shoulder.
