From the lineage of royals who are recognized and privileged yet no longer in the position to rule the country, Taehyung is the only grandson in his generation. The only one who can continue the bloodline.
Considered a national treasure, he was over...
The prince that night made a visit at Charlie's designated terrain and surprised her with what seemed to be a 'peace offering' on what happened earlier. I opened the small cage and let the tiny puppy come out of his cage. The prince was so amused that he played with it.

"Yeontaaaan, stay still! Hahaha"
He was so entertained that he forgot to check on the person he was supposedly giving a surprise. He picked the puppy and gave Charlie a glance just to be welcomed by a sullen face. He carefully gave the puppy to her and she silently took and pet it...still with that dismal mood.
A mood that I haven't seen before. I'm sure Taehyung messed up this time... what happened earlier wasn't something that a puppy can easily rectify.
"Well, aren't you happy."
The prince asked a bit appalled as Charlie even refused looking at him.
The tone of the prince was a cue for us to leave them. Rina, who appeared to be a little worried left with me along with a butler and a few servants.
Personally, I cannot blame Charlie. For a future Korean princess being set aside like that, not once but a few times was a hard thing to take. I bowed to them as the last person to step out of the huge living room.

She continued petting the puppy who eventually hopped away from her and ran around the couch. She still looked down and linked her hands together.
"What's wrong. Talk to me. Is this about Hebe?"
She still refused to answer.
I walked towards her spot and sat next to her.
"Charlie...sweetheart, I know you feel as though I'm neglecting you for her but that's not what it seems. Hebe...is someone actually appointed by my parents and grandparents and not me. One day you'll understand."
