Bad tea ♤

The high tea was absolutely plain. I accompanied Charlie the whole time and our purpose to let my mother absorb my subtle confession didn't push through. The Korean royal family unintentionally took away such opportunity.

And... mummy inexplicably avoided us. My father and my grandmother acted composed the whole time after their discovery but many times, daddy gave my sister a comforting pat on her shoulder and very endearing smiles. Grandmother, right after the tea gathering, embraced Charlie and kissed her.

It's a little hard for us to focus on our personal family issue as this is an important event for the Russian royals. My father and I discussed in my quarters that this should all be settled right after the ball.

He looked a little worried.

Earlier at the gathering, the younger ones were in a seperated table except her. She made sure never to leave my mother's side as she's absolutely aware that her time is ticking. Father was quite civil, it was all apparent to her.

She still stood on her ground. Acted like the princess when half of us already know she's not.

Avalanche likes to surprise people. Charlie was addressed as a royalty the whole time. It was pretty evident to us, making the young Korean prince and his advisers a little confused. While Avalanche, Wintour and I did nothing but exchanged smiles.

Jackson was the only person who was openly uncomfortable about the 'addressing'. He seemed a little bothered too.

"Seems like our Charlie here is quite pampered by the Russian prince huh. Why can't be Pearl addressed in the same way??"

Hoseok teased as once again, when Charlie excused herself, the servants bowed to her, still in a surprised way, she glanced at me and pouted a little. Taehyung was now truly baffled... giving us a curious yet stern reaction.

Avalanche once again exchanged glances with me and Wintour then foolishly smiled;

"Should we...propose Texas to be converted to Monarchy?"

He said in response to Hoseok's question.

I shrugged;

"Let's do our best."

Avalanche including Wintour laughed.
