Taehyung POV
“I believe I picked you up at a high scale club in the city, and yes, trust is an issue in this agreement, but I’m sure it’s a problem that will be resolved rather quickly.”
“What?”
“You see, I plan to make you mine.” His hand caressed my jaw and ran over my lips. “You’re beautiful, and your personality is so dynamic, it makes me want to make you mine right this instant, but I know that you would resist, which turns me on even more.”
“T-that’s! I don’t--!..” my mind was a whirl of confusion.
“That’s okay, take your time to decide.” His arm snaked around my waist and pulled me closer to him. He sat up and I landed on his lap. “Although I do expect an answer by the end of today. Just think about it. You’d make more in a year than you would make your whole life at your current job. Plus, if you be mine...well, let’s just say there’s plenty of perks that comes with that.”
His hands caressed my chest lazily. “I-I really appreciate the offer...but I don’t know if...what exactly do you do? And I don’t even know who you are!”
He chuckled. “Let’s start with introductions then, shall we? I’m Jeon Jungkook. I am the owner of Blue Lily Inc. and many other businesses and clubs around the city and now, the world.”
I must have gasped a little, because he grinned. “But you were right, there are some shady things there, too. But that is for another time. For now, just think about my offer. Think about how you would instantly be far greater than your brother, who’s only pushed you down every step of the way. You’d be untouchable to him.” He leaned in. “And, as I’ve mentioned before, if you so choose to live with me...then life would never be a bore.” He kicked my ear and it sent shivers down my spine.
He slid me off of his lap and got off the bed. He dressed and then turned back to me. “I had some clothes brought for you from your apartment last night as well. Really, you should consider moving in, your place seems quite sad.”
“It’s not like I make millions everyday or anything.” I muttered.
“Hmm?”
“Nothing.” I mumbled. He turned and walked out of the room. I found the clothes and slipped them on, then walked out slowly, starting to think. It was almost too good of an opportunity to be true.
“Do you want some coffee?”
“What?” I turned to the voice and looked at the woman who’d approached me. She looked like a maid.
“Do you speak Japanese? Sorry, I just got this job and I haven’t lived here for very long. Nobody seems to understand me.” She paused. “Do....you....want...s-some...c-coffee?” She asked in a thick accented Korean.
“Ah, that would be wonderful.” I replied in Japanese. She lit up.
“So you can speak Japanese?”
“Yes. You just moved here?”
“Yep! My brother gave me his papers and I’m trying to make enough money to bring my family over. Master Jeon is so kind, even if his men are a bit brutish. But they mean no harm if...you mean no harm, that is.”
“I’ll keep that in mind.”
“Ah! I’ll go get that coffee for you.”
“Yes, Thank you.” She offered a quick bow and retreated through the door she’d come through.
“Impressive.” I turned. Jungkook was leaning against the wall. “Your skill is very impressive indeed. Misa is almost impossible to understand, but she is a really hard worker.”
“She wants to make enough money to bring her family over.”
“I see. Well, would you care to join me? She made breakfast.”
“Sure.” I followed him into a beautiful dining room and sat next to him at the table. We ate in silence and I thanked Misa for the coffee again as she gave it to me.
“I hope to see you again.” She said brightly.
“I hope so too as well. Good luck on your goal.”
“Thank you, Sir.” She left and by then I was done. And I think I’d come to a decision. I stood and finished my coffee before turning to Jungkook.
I sighed and placed the cup on the table. “Fine, I accept you offer for the job.”
He smirked. “Good. Then I’ll have—“
“But. I’m not moving in with you. First of all, I just met you. Second of all, you forced me to engage in activities that I was not completely comfortable with and third, I refuse to live with complete stranger who suggests things they think they already have.” I crossed my arms. “But I will work for you.”
“I won’t give up on you. And not completely comfortable? Does that mean you enjoyed it just a little bit?”
“No.” I managed, coughing awkwardly. “I’m not answering that question.” I finally said.
