Taehyung POV
“He asked if you would...give me to him for tonight because he is seeking a companion.”
Jungkook smirked and said evenly, “Tell Seokjin that although he is an important investor, you are mine.”
“What is this? If I knew I would suddenly be tossed around like some object I never would have come.” I hissed. He waved to Seokjin and I sighed.
“Jungkook wishes for you to know that you are an important investor to him, but that...he will not be sharing what is his...” I finished darkly. “Although I cannot say that I am his at all, despite what he thinks.”
“Oh, really?” Seokjin leaned I towards me. “Interesting indeed. Perhaps once this meeting is over then, I may enjoy your company then? I’m sure we can come to some sort of agreement.”
“O-Okay.” I said, turning to Jungkook. “I really need you to change the subject here.” I muttered to him.
“Why? It’s so fun to watch you react. It tells me all I need to know.” He crossed his arms.
“You know what? I think Human Relations is better than this.”
“Sit.” Jungkook said as I moved to get up. “It seems you have made my translator uncomfortable, Seokjin. Let us get to know one another, not someone who is not yet involved in such things.”
“Yet!?”
“Haha, very well.” Seokjin said in perfect Korean, leaning forwards.
“W-what? If you can speak Korean, then why am I even here!?” I Said.
“My Korean is a little rusty, so I may be in need of your assistance.”
“It sounds fine to me.” I said flatly. “You were probably just pretending so that you could say weird things to me.”
“My, the little tiger cub has such a mouth. Surely you have disciplined him by now, Jungkook?”
“There was no time.” Jungkook said. “Later.”
“W-what do you mean by discipline, exactly?”
“You wanted to change the subject?” Seokjin Said, turning to me. “Fine, Little cub. Tell me, when did you learn about us? I did not believe that anybody would be able to tell who we are by just a simple small glance of our insignia. It wasn’t even the full picture, and yet you seemed to know right away.
“Ah...I studied Japanese for three years, and I just happened to come across you in my research. I didn’t mean any harm or anything, I was just surprised.”
“So why...why is it that you recognize the real insignia even though we use a fake one? Only my members know the true insignia.” He Said, switching back to Japanese.
“W-what? No, don’t get me wrong, it’s just a misunderstanding. Your real insignia? A fake one? I just saw it from a book a couple of years back and recognized it when I came in.”
“Which book where you reading, Little cub?”
“I-it was an account of the beginnings of the Japay Yakuza. I found it at a used bookstore. It was about your founding leader, I believe it was he who wrote the book. Although, it was really hard to understand at the time, because I was just learning Japanese and I haven’t read it all, yet. Only the first two pages I think.”
“You have what?” He Said slowly. His men began to spread out.
“I...Ah.” I jumped as one of his men placed a hand on his shoulder. “I can give it to you, it’s no problem. But I don’t have it with me right now...Ah ha...”
“Your translator is more interesting than I was led to believe, Jungkook.” Seokjin said. “Perhaps we may take him for a little ride? What do you say? Just the three of us.”
“Why?”
“He has something that I would very much like back.” He grit with a smile that didn’t fit the malicious energy coming off of him.
“I see. Very well, if it is that important. I don’t really feel like loosing him just as soon as I’ve gotten him.”
“You didn’t buy me at a store or something!” I burst out. “Stop saying stuff about being ‘yours’!” I stood and the man who’d touched me grabbed my arm.
“You will treat my master with the respect he deserves you low life scum.” He growled.
“Enough.” Seokjin Said, waving a hand. The pressure on my arm was gone and I turned and walked towards the door. Jungkook And Seokjin both gave me strange looks.
“What?”
“Nothing.” Jungkook said. “Let’s go.” We left the building and got into a car. “Taehyung’s apartment, please.”
“You have such a beautiful name, Little cub. It’s so cute and unique.”
“T-thank you?” I stiffened as his hand brushed my jaw.
“What do you think you're doing? I already laid claim, so back off asshole.” Jungkook said, grabbing me and pulling me towards him.
“Excuse me...”
“Who’d you just call, ‘asshole’?” Seokjin said, leaning towards me.
“Ah...” I could tell that he was going to kiss me as soon as he came closer. “Excuse me!” I finally shouted. I reached behind me and opened the door, simultaneously unbuckling my seat belt and falling backwards, onto the sidewalk. “I’ll just be right back. I’ll get your book, Seokjin.” Then I turned and walked as fast as I could towards my apartment.
