“Ever the possessive one. Don’t worry, Little Cub, he’s actually a nice person.” Jungkook shot him a look and he smiled innocently. I guess I never realized it, but Seokjin was actually really really nice. His personality didn’t match his job at all.
We all got into a car. “The book store, Woo.” I requested. He nodded in response.
“Bookstore?”
“Namjoon owns the bookstore. It’s where I found your book, Jin.” I Said.
“Namjoon saves all of the best books for me.”
“Should I be jealous of this man, Little Cub?” Jin Said, leaning towards me.
“What? No! Namjoon is like a father to me.” I laughed out. We pulled up to his store moments later and I hopped out. I entered the store.
“Namjoon hyung!”
“Taehyung! Get your ass over here, I’m old and I need your strength!” Came the voice.
"You're not that old, hyung!" But I still walked around the back and found that Namjoon was struggling with a box. I picked it up for him.
“Thanks dear boy. Now, where’s this guy you keep talking of?”
“He’s out front. His friend is here as well, I hope you don’t mind.”
“Not at all! More costumers!” I walked behind him as we rounded the corner again. I put the box on the counter and turned.
“Namjoon this is...” my voice died as I felt the atmosphere. It was not good. “Um...do you guys know each other?”
“What are you doing, messing with Taehyung?” Namjoon uttered dangerously low.
“Namjoon?” I asked, glancing between the men.
“He works for me.”
“Don’t go giving me that bullshit.” He said.
“Namjoon!” I whined, smiling nervously.
“Taehyung, where did you meet these men?”
“Huh? Oh, I met Jungkook at one of his clubs about a month ago. I met Seokjin when I first started working.”
“You do know who these men are, don’t you?”
“...yeah, but how do you know?”
“You’re the middle man.” Seokjin clarified, amused. “Now I know why Taehyung had that book.”
“The middle man?” I was really confused at this point.
“Well, good thing you’re paying for Taehyung’ last purchase.” Namjoon directed at Jungkook.
“I’m really confused here.” I butted in.
“Anything to keep the old man in business.” Jungkook said, smirking. “Having money problems?”
“Show some respect to your elders, young man.” Namjoon snapped. I glanced at Jin and he smiled at me, walking over.
“You know him?”
“He’s most commonly called the 'middle man'. He’s like a messenger for all of the underground networks. If you need to contact someone, or find someone, he’s the one to contact.”
“What!?” I looked at Namjoon. He glanced at me and his expression grew flat. He reached out and grabbed Jungkook. He said something to him, and then released him. Jungkook took out a card and handed it to him.
Five minutes later we were thrown out of the shop. “Taehyung!” I turned. Yoongi was walking up towards me. “Hey man, long time no see! You busy?”
“No, not particularly.”
“Then come with me! It’s almost six and I haven’t gone out drinking with you in ages!”
“Wait, what?” I stared at him blankly as he grabbed me and started walking down the street.
“Sorry guys! But I’ll be taking Taehyung!”
“Yoongi!” I complained, but he continued to drag me down the street. I looked back and both Jungkook And Jin were looking at me with smirks.
“Come on! We’ll go clubbing and pick up some girls for the night! I bet you haven’t gotten laid in months!” Then I was dragged into a car. I somehow ended up at a club. Yoongi was relentless and I sighed, sitting in the corner as the music blared.
“Oh my god, could it be?” I turned and looked down at the woman who’d approached me. “It is! Oh my god! It’s been ages Taehyung!”
“I’m sorry...?”
“Oh, goodness me.” She giggled. “Hyuna. Lee Hyuna?”
“H-Hyuna!” I smiled nervously. “Wow, uh..”
“I haven’t seen you in forever! Well, was it since the day you confessed to me?” I felt a blush creeping up my neck.
“That was high school! And besides, my brother...”
“Ditched me. Honestly, I should’ve gone with you. You’re so much sweeter.” She smiled, leaning forward. I leaned away slightly. She giggled. “Here! Have a drink!” She handed me something.
“Ah...”
“Come on! Lighten up!” I took it from her and took a sip. “So, how long has it been?”
“Five years.”
“I moved right after you confessed, such a shame.” She said. I started to feel light headed. I staggered a little. “Oh deary! Let’s go somewhere more private.” She led me to a private section, where an empty couch sat. “Honestly, I didn’t even give you that much. You must have a really low tolerance. It was just one sip. Here, take another one.”
My focus vanished, and I couldn’t think straight. Hyuna straddled me and began to kiss me. “Honestly, you’re so much prettier than Taemin was. Your eyes are better than his, too.” Her tongue shoved into my mouth and I couldn't push her away. “Not even reacting to your first love, Huh? I’ll just have to try harder."
She pressed against me, moving her hips to grind against me in the process. She continued to kiss me. She did so for twenty minutes. “Man, you’re one tough nut to crack. Not even hard and I’ve done everything I could in a public place.” She pouted. “Perhaps you need more. Here.” She handed me a drink, but a wrist caught her hand.
“What are you doing?” A familiar voice growled out.
“Hey! Back off buddy, he’s mine!” She whined.
“Taehyung, what the hell are you doing!?” I couldn’t focus. A hand waved in front of me. “What did you do to him?”
“I just made him a bit more open. But I’ve been working so hard for so long, and he hasn’t even reacted. Honestly, I thought first loves were supposed to last longer than this. He must love someone else too much to cheat.” I blinked slowly and looked to my side.
“What did you give him?”
“Hey! Calm down man! It was just a small dose!”
