A lie and even more lies

There's a peaceful sound in the distance. That's was one thing that Kokichi can hear in the darkness, he walked closer and closer to that sound. The sound soon turns in a voice, he reaches out to it and questions it. "Who are you?" He wakes up from his dream. He wasn't completely awake as he sits up and plays with his hair as he checks the time. Alarm clocks never woke him up before. When he hears the sound of an alarm clock he would either slam the clock so it shuts up or chuck it out of the window and go back to sleep.

Oh shoot I'm probably going to be late! He jumps up from his bed and changes into his uniform, took his bag and ran out of his house. Shuichi exited his house at the wrong moment and Kokichi crashes right into him. Great! What a very great start of the day! Kokichi was definitely frustrated as Shuichi groaned underneath him. "Kokichi can you please..." "Please what?" "Get off... of me... please..." Kokichi just realized that he laying on Shuichi and stood up. "I didn't know you were the type to rush to school..." "I don't want get another detention after yesterday you know!" Shuichi stood up "I thought you were more of the type to get detention and not care about it" Kokichi rolled his eyes.

"I should really get going now" I don't wanna make things worse for my dad after all. Things are already worse enough, hopefully... It doesn't get any worse... Kokichi started running to the train station with Shuichi following him behind. Shuichi wasn't the fast or energetic type so he was far off from Kokichi. Kokichi stopped and looked back. Shuichi is so slow... Why am I even worrying about him anyways! The train's going to start any minute now! He ran back for Shuichi and held him by the hand then dragged the boy with him to the train station.

Ah! The train! It just arrived! Kokichi was panting but still continued running with Shuichi holding his hand. They both entered the train panting a lot with sweat running down their foreheads. It's the first time I ever ran while holding someone, Kokichi looked at Shuichi who was panting and sweating just like him. The train eventually arrived at the stop where Shuichi and Kokichi was going off. I guess I can relax and walk now... After all school is far from starting, Shuichi went up to Kokichi and put his hand on Kokichi's shoulder. Kokichi turned to the detective in training while putting his arms behind his head "What is it?" He asked Shuichi in a rather annoyed voice. "Why did you help me?" Kokichi didn't know how to answer the question since it was his body that decided to move on its own. "I don't really know... And that's the truth!" Shuichi looked at him with suspicion "Are you lying again, Kokichi?" "Owie! That's a seriously low blow right there!" Kokichi started to act dramatically.

"Hey Kokichi!" A feminine voice called out to Kokichi. Kokichi stopped acting and looked the owner of the voice. Apparently Kaede was the one who called out to him. "So... Are you going to answer my question from yesterday?" AHH S*** I TOTALLY FORGOT THAT! (Sry for the caps and swear word) "About that... Can I answer later!?~" Kokichi shifted his face to a smile and tried to keep it on without it twitching. "Ok Kokichi... I'll be... waiting for your answer!" Kaede smiled and then ran off. "What did she mean by question?" Kokichi immediately turned back, he definitely forgot about Shuichi there. "Nehehe~ Shuichi didn't anyone teach you that curiosity killed the cat?" Shuichi blinked a lot of times and his thinking pose showed up. "Hmm... Thinking about that... No one has ever told me that..." "Eh!? But it's a reeaallyy popular!" "But I highly doubt that I will die by asking that question or finding the answer to it though..." "Hm? Did you forget?" "Forget?" "I'm a supreme leader of evil you know!~ I can kill you anytime I want!~" "That certainly sounds like a lie to me..."
