her mind waded
and wandered
among the waves,
barely getting
in the water.
but as time passed,
her heart sunk
and hit the
ocean floor,
nibbled on by fish
and scraped up
by coral reefs
on its way down;
damaged.
yet, no soul will
swim deep enough
to get a grasp of it.
it's too dark
down there.
