“-Hi Jimin,” the orange haired male awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck, not expecting the male he’s known for years to just run away from him.
He sighed, walking up to the counter, ready to buy the pretty yellow shirt he saw, and thankfully his best friend gave him enough money for it.
“Hi, is this all?” the lady asked, a bright smile on her face.
The male mimicked her action, “Yup!”
“Card or cash?”
“Cash,” he replied quickly, handing her the desired amount.
The female smiled, handing him the bag, though before he could leave, she asked, “what’s your name?”
“Hoseok,” he smiled, “Jung Hoseok.”

“SJ!” Hoseok yelled into the house, a male yelling back.
“In the kitchen Hoseok!”
The orange haired male walked into the kitchen, setting his bag down. His long time friend turning around, “what’d you buy?” he asked, an apron over his upper half.
“Just a shirt, I didn’t really see anything else that caught my eye, y’know?” Hoseok replied, leaning on the counter.
“I do,” SJ chuckled, “well I made dinner, you hungry?”
“I could go for something to eat, thank you Sejun,” the younger showed a bright smile, taking a seat across from his friend, the two eating in silence until Hoseok had a question that caused Sejun to almost choke.
“SJ…”
“Yes Hoseok?”
“I want a job,” he stated quietly biting his lower lip.
Sejun started hacking profusely, the orange haired male running over and tapping his back. After a bit more coughing, Sejun was able to breathe properly again.
“Why do you want a job?” he asked, eyeing the male, though his worries vanished when he saw Hoseok drink his water, his eyes shining an even brighter green then before.
Though Hoseok never noticed, always saying it was the light that caused his eyes to shine that way.
“I’m sick of having to take your money and you buy everything, I want to help!” he insisted, making motions with his hands to emphasise his point, “Sejun, you’ve been taking care of me for so long and all I want to do is return the favor. Let me help with the money, at least let me get a small job in Seoul, since you know I love that place so much.”
“Let me think about it, okay?” Sejun suggested, Hoseok nodding.
“I’ll wash the dishes,” the orange haired male stated, Sejun nodded, getting up and ruffling the younger male’s hair.
Sejun didn’t know whether he should even allow Hoseok to step into the outside world, but he didn’t want to seem controlling or suspicious, he didn’t want Hoseok to get triggered into getting all his memories back like last time.
Eventually, he succumbed to the male’s wishes, allowing him to go out and find a job.
He expected Yoongi and the others to have moved on already, it has been three years.

Hoseok had wondered to a cafe in Seoul, he walked in, wanting to get a job, only to be turned down in front of a bunch of people. Though he was happy the nice woman was suggesting another place for him to look.
