Jihyo practically gaped at Hoseok when she saw him as she walked into the apartment, she didn't know why his aura was so different. She didn't expect it to be. All the guy did was get his memories back but he seemed like a totally different person.
The twins walked in right behind her, glad to see their favorite sunshine man, the two running to Hoseok who was standing in the living room with Yoongi.
"SUNSHINE MAN!" Misun yelled with excitement, running to one of Hoseoks legs and clinging onto it like she always did. Jihoon doing the same, clinging onto Hoseoks other leg.
Hoseok saw how the young girl, Misun, looked just like him. She had his eyes, his nose, his lips, and his hair color, she even had his smile and was energetic much like himself. While the young boy, Jihoon, reminded him a lot of Yoongi. He had his syncs eyes, his pale skin, his lips, and his nose. He also could tell his son was like his father in the sense that they weren't as crazy with energy all the time. These similarities causing Hoseoks heart to warm up within his chest.
These are our kids? Hoseok asked Yoongi through their thoughts, his gaze fixated on the two children hugging his legs.
Yoongi smiled, Nooo, he mocked, I found them on the street, of course they're our kids!
Fuck off, Hoseok told Yoongi, the elder now chuckling.
Jihyo watching the whole interaction with a smile.
Hoseok crouched down to the twins height, after getting them off his legs, the male staring at them as if he's never seen them before. Because technically, he has never met them as his true self.
"What's wong, Sunshine man?" Misun inquired, the twins tilting their heads to the side just like Hoseok did when he was confused.
The male felt like crying, he wanted to burst into tears just from seeing them. Because of Sejun he missed so many fucking things. He missed their first steps, he missed their first words, he missed their first bath, he basically missed their first everything because Sejun had him captive with the his own manipulated consent. This thought angering him slightly, but that anger didn't overtake the sadness he felt within himself.
Yoongi could feel Hoseoks anger mixed with sadness, he felt bad. None of this was Hoseoks fault, the fact that he couldn't assist Yoongi in raising their twins in their early years wasn't his fault. Though he knew the younger male wouldn't see it that way.
The twins are still young, he still had time to raise them. There were still firsts that he didn't miss.
"Misun, Jihoon," Yoongi called out, noticing his syncs eyes well up with tears.
Jihyo left the room and went to her own bedroom, wanting to give the family space.
The twins looked over at their appa with wide, doe like, eyes.
Yoongi didn't know what to say, he didn't know how to tell the twins that the man in front of them was actually their father. They are extremely young so it wouldn't be a hassle to convince them he is, but he didn't want it to be rushed.
The elders eyes furrowed at that thought, rushed? Hell, he was deprived of his sync for years and he's now worried about rushing things. His kids needed to know that the man in front of them, the man they already seem to be infatuated with, was actually their father. The man that helped create them and the man that made their appie happy.
"Sunshine man is more than just appies friend. He is very, very, special to appa," Yoongi began, looking at Hoseoks flabbergasted expression.
"Like Jungkookie Hyung and Taehyungie hyung?" Jihoon questioned, his three year old mind trying to wrap around what his father meant.
Yoongi smiled, "Yes, like that. Sunshine man is actually your other appa. Remember how Appie told you that you had another appa when you asked if you had a mom?"
They nodded, Yoongi smiled and tilted his head towards Hoseok, "Well, Sunshine man is your other appa."
This caused both the twins eyes to widen tenfold, Hoseoks included. He didn't expect Yoongi to just announce it so quickly.
"They felt a connection to you from the start," Yoongi whispered to his sync, "deep down, I think they had a feeling. My kids aren't stupid."
"YUR FACE!" Jihoon suddenly shouted at Misun, the female touching her face in confusion. "Wooks like his face!"
Misun looked over at Hoseok, who she knew as sunshine man, and even for her young age she knew she looked like the man in front of her. Anyone who saw the two would assume they had a relation.
Yoongi laughed at that, Hoseok smiling slightly. What happened next was what pushed Hoseok to breakdown completely.
Both Jihoon and Misun ran and hugged Hoseok with all their might, the both of them whispering 'I wove you' into his ears with their arms wrapped around his neck. The male broke down into a mess of tears when he heard the words, his arms wrapping around his tiny children. Yoongi smiled with tears pricking his eyes, the male joining the three in the hug they were sharing when Hoseok pulled him into it.
Jihyo, who had seemed to walk out at the perfect time, snapped a photo of the hug with a smile on her face.
The family was finally together.
