Yoongi quickly scurried behind his daughter, trying to grab her as quickly as possible. Some people were staring fondly at the father trying to catch his little girl, but Yoongi didn’t see her misbehaving as cute, he found it disrespectful and he didn’t want his daughter that way. Though he couldn’t blame her, the other kid did frighten her.

“Sunnie!” he whisper yelled, the female finally stopping in place, only because she saw someone she recognized. “TaeTae! Kookie!” she yelled in delight.

The maroon haired male lifted Misun up with one arm, the other holding Woozi’s hand.

“Glad you two finally showed up,” the elder exasperated, Jungkook and Taehyung giving him sheepish smiles.

“Sorry Hyung, we didn’t mean to keep you waiting long,” Jungkook smiled, taking Woozi up in his arms while Taehyung got the three a table.

Today Yoongi was doing one of his annual meets with his best friends, something they set up three years ago, after Hoseok died and Yoongi was finally able to be out of the hospital again. It was so Yoongi could relax and his friend’s could check up on him.

He usually went alone, but Woozi and Misun needed to go with him this time.

“So, why did you bring the kids? I’m not complaining though, I do love the two bundles of joy,” Tae showed his signature box smile, asking his question once they were all seated.

Yoongi sighed, looking at the kids menu for Misun and Jihoon, “Jihyo had work at the hospital today, and Boa had something to do with her own daughter.”

Jungkook and Taehyung nodded, their hands interlocked on the table, Yoongi noticing their wedding rings, the two having gotten married about a year ago. Yoongi, of course, went to the wedding.

Though he couldn’t help but feel envious of the two, even if they were two of his closest friends. He and Hoseok were going to get married, they were going to raise their kids together, and have a family together.

But that got ripped away from him. He looked at his own ring finger, which held his and Hoseok’s engagement rings, nostalgia washing over him like a how the tide crashes on the sand.

Before Yoongi could become completely lost in his memories, the sound of his son’s voice pulled him out of his trance.

“Appie I went Melk!” Jihoon whined, Misun nodding along with him, Jungkook and Taehyung chuckling at their niece and nephew.

“What’s the magic word?” the maroon haired male asked, crossing his arms over his chest playfully.

“Pwease Appie!” Misun and Jihoon pleaded in unison, showing their puppy dog eyes.

Yoongi smiled, pinching both their cheeks, “of course angels.”

Woozi and Misun ended up making a bit of a mess on themselves as they ate their food, Yoongi slightly annoyed, but he knew they were only 3 years old and he can’t be so tough on them. In moments like this he would have needed Hoseok.

“I’ll get some napkins and some extra utensils,” Taehyung laughed, getting up from the table and walking over to where they left extra utensils and napkins.

Taehyung was always a curious person, he and Jin were, and sometimes that curiosity got him into trouble, or just led him to great discoveries and some hot ass tea. Maybe this time was one of them.

The male heard a woman talking, she sounded sympathetic yet annoyed at the same time, he hadn’t turned around yet from what he was doing, not trying to give himself away just yet, but when he heard the person she was talking to speak. His curiosity was through the roof, so he turned around.

And what he saw caused him to drop all the utensils he had in his hands, and his breath to leave his body completely. There about 4 feet in front of him, was someone who not only looked, but sounded just like Hoseok, the voice a bit deeper.

His eyes were bright green, his hair orange, skin tanned, and a scar on his neck for the whole world to see.

“Please, noona, I just need a job. Any, and I saw the sign and-” this man, that looked like Hoseok’s clone, pleaded.

Tae watched in astonishment.

“Okay, okay, Hoseok calm down,” she pleaded, the male nodding, “I’ll ask my friend who works the grocery store, maybe you can get a job there.”

The orange haired male jumped for joy, “Thank you Noona!”

Taehyung didn’t even realize he was shaking.

Hoseok, or whomever he was, caught Tae’s stare, smiling a bright smile. He waved at him, this Hoseok man, waved at him as if he knew who he was, and Taehyung waved back; still stuck in a trance.

Once the green eyed boy was out of sight, Taehyung felt a tapping on his shoulder.

It was Yoongi.

“What is taking you so fucking long?” he cursed, grabbing the napkins and utensils, “you look like you saw ghost Taehyung, are you okay?”

Tae slowly nodded, looking over at Yoongi with glossy eyes, because to him, it was like he really did see a ghost.

“I’m fine Yoongi,” he assured, blinking to stop his tears from coming out, “just fine.”
