It had to be you, it had to be you
I wandered around and finally found, that somebody who
Could make me be trueRain beat on the roof, just as it had for hours. You listened to him softly snoring, his right arm wrapped around your middle, holding you close. The music still played faintly in the corner of the small hut and you couldn't help but grin.
"Dance with me, Doll," he whispered over the beating rain and pulled you against him. You laughed loudly and he couldn't help but do the same. He'd told you more time than you could count that you were infectious, your smile.
Your laugh.
"I used to be quite the dancer," he grinned as he held you close, his stormy blue eyes staring into yours. "Bet you were, handsome," you grinned back. Burying your face in his chest, he hummed along to the song.
Could make me feel blue
And even be glad just to be sad, thinking of you"You know," he said, kissing your head, "you saved me, Doll. You really did. You make me feel absolutely alive. Make me feel like the man I used to be."
Your heart soared at his words, you knew he meant them. "I love you, Beautiful Girl."
Spinning you around, you laughed loudly again, throwing your head back. It was peaceful in the hut, this was happiness, pure paradise. You reached up, threading your fingers through his brown locks and he hummed appreciatively.
"Some kinda dame, I swear, sweetheart. You got some spell over me."
Some others I've seen
Might never be mean
Might never be cross, or try to be boss
But they wouldn't doYou danced until you wore yourselves out and he grabbed your wrist gently, pulling you into the bed, into his warmth. He was your home, your love. Your everything.
"I wanna touch you...," he breathed against your neck and moved carefully, positioning himself between your thighs. He looked down at you and your heart stopped. There was so much love, adoration in his eyes that it made you feel exposed.
"Let me, hmm?," he asked and you nodded as his hand trailed up your body. For a moment, there was no other sound than the rain beating on the roof and the occasional peal of thunder. His lips were slightly parted, his pupils blown.
His lips met yours and you felt like you couldn't breathe. Wrapping your arms around him, you pulled him closer, needing so desperately to feel his body against yours. "Patience, baby...," he breathed, "I wanna take my time."
For nobody else gave me a thrill
With all your faults, I love you stillAnd take his time he did. He kissed over every exposed inch of you, worshiping you like a goddess. It wasn't the first time, but it always felt like it was. He treated you like you were the only woman in the world.
Touch starved for so many years, Bucky more than made up for it. Touching you, begging you to touch him every chance he got. Finally pushing into you slowly, he paused, letting you adjust before starting a slow pace. He needed you to feel all of him.
It had to be you, wonderful you
It had to be you"I love you," he panted as he filled you, feeling you shatter around him. "Oh my girl...I love you. I love you, I love you," he moaned, collapsing beside you. Soon he was wrapped around you, holding you closely, drifting off to sleep.
It was all you needed, moments like those. Rare, but beautiful. Just you and Bucky.
With all your faults, I love you still
It had to be you, wonderful you
It had to be you
