|| Your POV
I've told Dan about the eviction situation.
Being the super great boyfriend he is, he is helping with the apartment situation.
"I am super juiced to protect you with my life." Dan says. I laugh and look up at him while continuing to sift through newspapers, and circle all the possible apartments.
Sally barges in with a guy trailing behind her.
Ryan Wittaker.
"Hey bitch," she says kicking my side. My eyes are locked onto Ryan. His posture is still straight- like a dancer's should. He looks over at me and notices my stare.
"Oh shit yeah-" Sally says jumping back onto the situation.
"I brought Ryan." She says. There's still a silence and the rooms gets heavy. Dan is standing very awkwardly behind me.
I throw Sally and look and tilt my head towards Dan.
"Oh yeah Ryan, this is Dan, Y/N's boyfriend. I've told you about him?" She says. Ryan gives me a friendly smile and agrees with Sally. They start their conversation and I continue looking through the newspapers.
Dan squats down to my level and then sits on the ground.
I open up my laptop and pull up apartment listings.
"So, who's Ryan to you?" Dan asks.
"Sally's ex. Who had a fondness towards me." I say. Dan squints and looks at me.
"And did you reciprocate those feelings?" He asks. I turn to him and realise how concerned yet agitated he looks.
"No. Friends. I haven't spoken to him in like four or five years, Dan, can I just spend some time with my friend?" I smile- hoping it was cancel out the annoying in my voice.
He exhales and kisses my head. He sits down on the ground next to me and we keep looking through new papers and articles on the laptop in search for a new apartment.

I gave up on searching nearly an hour ago. Sally and Ryan left again because it just got too awkward. Maybe if Dan weren't here there would be less tension. Not that it's exactly his fault- just... awkward...
I am still sitting on the ground outside the door. I am quickly pulled away from my daze by Dan.
"I have a concept which you will either be down for or at least think of as a temporary thing." Dan states.
I sit towards him, facing my body towards him.
"Move in with me."
I look at him. My face is still left blank- but my eyes are squinted. He looks at me with concerned eyes now. He looks like a puppy- and it warms my heart.
I only notice now that Dan's squatting in a gargoyle position, his hand on the floor and his legs bend out either side of him. His fingertips are on the floor. I put my hand on his and look up at him.
"I'd love to."
A relaxed smirk grows on his face. And he nods to himself in pride, like a child. He gets back to his feet and sits on the sofa, his body spread out.
I jump up, my legs quickly give in as they haven't been stretched in nearly three hours and I have been sitting on my crossed legs for a majority of that time.
I place myself beside Dan and stretches his arm around my shoulder. I sit on the sofa in silence for a little bit.
"I'm gonna miss this place like hell..." I say, feeling a little bit emotional. Dan looks at me.
"I will too... I have known you for nearly two years and every time that I came here, it was just part of you." Dan says. I fake a pathetic sniff and Dan pulls my shoulder in.
"But now we can make my room our place." Dan says. I turn to him and immediately cock my eyebrow up at him.
"Oh shit now that sounded kinky-" he says quickly apologising.
I put my lips on his. "Shut up, you idiot." I laugh into his face.
He smiles up at me and I turn back and lie down on the spot I originally was and make myself comfortable.
