after being dressed properly, jaemin held the older's shirt tight and stopped him from calling anyone from his phone. ❝please don't.❞
sighing, renjun dialed a number. ❝i want to help you but i honestly can't do it alone.❞
❝don't call them.❞ jaemin tightened his grip on the short male's shirt, standing up and looking down at the male with eyes begging. ❝please.❞
❝jaemin..❞ renjun frowned as he placed a hand on his shoulder, ❝they are your friends, they will accept you even if you are like this.❞

looking down, jaemin bit his lower lip. he stayed down for a few seconds, thinking of what to do, and then raised his head after finally having an idea. ❝i will do it.❞

renjun wrapped his arms around the younger's waist and then placed his head on jaemin's chest. hugging the younger, giving him the comfort he wants. jaemin just stood there as the short male was hugging him so tight, he felt so warm from the hug even with just a shirt on and with the cold temperature of the room.
❝it's almost midnight, i don't think they will come.❞ jaemin said, slowly agreeing with renjun about coming out with this curse in front of his friends.
pulling his head away from the younger's firm chest, renjun smiled softly at him. ❝are you ready?❞
not like he really has a choice. renjun is a normal human being and doesn't have any cat ears and tail, obviously, which he can walk down the road with no problems and no eyes at him. but even renjun admitted that he can't do it alone in finding the old woman. meanwhile, jaemin here is telling him that he can do it when his physically appearance, the tail and cat ears, isn't a normal everyday look. he can't just easily pass through the crowded streets and look for the old woman that cursed him to be like this without weird looks coming from the people. so in all honestly, jaemin really can't do it alone.

a few rings was heared for the past few seconds until the person renjun decided to call firt finally answered. and to think jaemin's friends are sleeping, seems like one (or two) of them are still wide awake and very active.
