❝can i do something before i leave?❞

the pink haired raised a brow at the short male who's sitting down the hospital bed, facing him, with a small smile on his face. ❝do what?❞

renjun slowly leaned forward still having that smile on his face. usually, jaemin would get annoyed seeing that smile of his but now he found it weird that he is starting to get all warm seeing that smile.

❝don't get mad at me, okay?❞

rolling his eyes, jaemin gave renjun a look. ❝i'm already mad at you for being here.❞

the short male doesn't know if that was a joke or if jaemin really meant it but he let out a forced giggle to hide what he is truly feeling as of the moment.

time stopped for jaemin when renjun ran a hand through his hair and continued to lean forward until their foreheads touched. he could only hear renjun's heavy breathing and his own heart beating really loudly. he isn't supposed to enjoy the moment yet a part of him is living the moment.

❝renjun what are you—❞

the short male cut the younger off by closing the gap between them and smashing their lips together. jaemin had never felt his emotions bursting out like this. renjun felt like crying the moment their lips touched, oh how much he had missed this. sadly, it won't last long. renjun pulled an inch away, about to catch his breath, but jaemin had to just lean forward and feel their lips touching again. even renjun was surprised but who is he to complain about them kissing again. in fact, he should be happy that jaemin is the one initiating the kiss this time.

but the two needed to breathe which is why they pulled away seconds after, catching for air.

renjun looked up smiling. jaemin just kissed him back, maybe, just maybe, jaemin is now trying to remember things about him. ❝jae—❞

the younger looked away, ❝is that all you want to do?❞

the smile from renjun's face then disappeared. ❝what?❞
