⌜ thirty three ⌟

he sure did wake up on the right side of the bed. not only did he have a good night sleep but was also greeted by a peacefully sleeping jaemin next to him. admiring the pink haired next to him, renjun still wondered how on earth things came to this. jaemin saved the cat, which is the old woman as what he had guessed, so why did he have to forget him? why him especially?

❝you will remember me,❞ renjun tucked in jaemin's hair behind his ears and then brushed his pink locks that's covering his forehead. ❝i know you will.❞

for the meantime, he is going to stick with the younger even though he'll only be pushed away.

as much as renjun wanted to stay and just admire him the whole day, he still has classes to attend and he didn't want to disappoint his parents anymore. he did receive a scolding yesterday during detention time when they decided to call as they heard the news about renjun sleeping in class. he rarely sleeps during class hours, and damn he felt good breaking the rules for once.

slowly moving away from the sleeping boy, renjun carefully placed a foot down the ground and then the other, successfully getting off the bed without waking jaemin up. checking the time, he still has thirty minutes to get ready and that's more than enough. lucky for him, his apartment isn't that far away.

❝i'll be going now.❞ renjun leaned down and gave jaemin a soft kiss on top of his head, patting it softly and carefully after. ❝sleep tight my kitty.❞

even without cat ears and a tail, jaemin will forever be his kitty.

turning back before closing the door, a small smile curved to renjun's lips as he stared at the pink haired boy that's sleeping peacefully. ❝i love you.❞

renjun's jaw dropped as stacks of papers and books were slammed at the desk of the teacher. he was being called two subject before they are dismissed for the day and he thought their homeroom adviser had just something to order but no, he's here to get a part two punishment for what he did yesterday which was sleeping during class hours.

❝as much as i didn't want to do this,❞ their homeroom adviser gave renjun one apologetic smile, ❝it's quite unfair if i just let you pass by this.❞

❝do all students get these kinds of punishments?❞ renjun took the books and papers, scanning them and was shocked at how tiring it looked every page. it's still his first tim breaking the rules, he didn't know the punishments are this hard.

❝yes, which is why some avoid breaking the rules..❞ the teacher chuckled before going back to his laptop and went on with his job, ❝but like donghyuck, who is one brave soul, he gets this all the time.❞
