I wake up and look around at my surroundings. I notice that I'm in my old bedroom that smells of perfume and has closets full of dresses and heels.

I notice the picture of Jake sitting on my bedside table that I swear I smashed the second I got home the weekend I found out he was cheating.

Confused, I climb out of bed and head down the stairs. I see my mother in the kitchen making pancakes.

"Mom?" I question, unsure of what else to say.

She turns around, eyes bloodshot and her face is dripping blood. She caresses my cheek before whispering a word that petrifies me.

"Run."

I back away slowly, my heart racing. The image of my mother starts to fade away. I continue to back away before I'm halted by my back running into something. More like someone.

I whip myself around to find Shaun with an evil grin on his face. I'm completely frozen in time as he comes closer and closer to me.

"I've waited for you for such a long time." He says, stroking my cheek.

I feel a single tear escape my eyes as he throws me down on the couch, attempting to remove my clothing. The front door swings open and Shaun scrambles off of me.

I look at the door entrance to see Harry, soaked from the pouring rain outside.

"Get away from her, now." His deep voice says at a quiet whisper.

Shaun laughs as if someone had just told him the funniest joke on the planet. He turns back to me and begins to touch me in ways that no one should have to be touched.

Harry lunges at Shaun, slamming him to the ground. They both scramble up to their feet and I gasp as I see Shaun pull out a pistol, aiming it straight at Harry.

"You should have learned by now." Shaun says as he pulls the trigger, the bullet slamming right into Harry. I scream, louder than I ever have before. Harry tried to save me and he ended up getting killed.

"Goodbye sweetheart." As the words leave Shaun's mouth, a bullet flies at me causing everything to go black.

I shoot up, breathing heavily as I notice that I'm back in the hotel room. I look to my side to see Harry sleeping soundly. I let out a sigh of relief and run my fingers through my hair.

I quietly climb out of bed, deciding to go and get a glass of water. I grab a glass from the cupboard and fill it with water from the tap. I take a sip before placing it in front of me. Leaning on the counter, I let out a large sigh of exaust.

I nearly scream when I feel a hand on the small of my back, turning around swiftly.

"Alex, what are you doing awake? Are you alright?" Harry asks with worry in his eyes.

"Damn it, you scared me." I say, placing my hand on my chest where my heart lies.

"You didn't answer my question. Are you alright?" He pushes.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just another nightmare." I say quietly.

"Was it any different this time?" He questions, eyebrows furrowed.

"Actually yeah. A lot different. You tried to save me and Shaun killed you, and then me." I explain, shaking my head. I don't understand why my dream was so different this time.

"It was just a dream." He says, pulling me into his arms, allowing me to lay my head onto his chest.

"I know, I just wish they would stop." I sigh, knowing that wishing won't do anything.

"Maybe you should see a doctor or something. Someone that can talk you through it and help you." Harry tells me, the suggestion slightly hurting me.

"I don't need help from a doctor, Harry I'm not insane." I say, pulling away from him, slightly offended.

"I'm just saying that it could help with your nightmares, maybe they could give you some medication to help them stop." He slightly shouts.

"I don't want medication! I don't need any type of drug to help me sleep at night!" I'm completely yelling right now, not caring about my surroundings.

"I'm just trying to help you!" He shouts back, obviously not caring that we're in a hotel, either.

"You can help me by leaving me the hell alone!" I yell, storming into my room and slaming the door.

A few seconds pass before I hear a slight knock on my door.

"Alex, please open the door, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have suggested that. Not enough time has passed." I ignore him, plopping down on my bed, pulling the covers over my head.

"Alex, just please open the door." He asks again as I continue to ignore him.

"Please, open the door! I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. Just let me in and we can talk about it. Please." He pleads and I can see the frown on his face, even though there's a door between us.

"It's not something to talk about! I'm not going to a doctor, discussion ended. Go away." I say back, hoping he will listen and go to his own room.

I hear him sigh through the door before I hear his footsteps, signaling that he has left. I roll over in my bed before letting out a quite large yawn and falling back asleep.

Harry's POV

I beg with Alex to open the door, but all I get is ignored. I plead with her a little more before she yells at me, telling me to go away. I didn't know that she would get so offended when all I wanted to do was get her some help. I thought that would show I cared? I don't know.

I sigh, knowing that I have been defeated and there's nothing I can do about it. I walk to my room, grab my pillow and my blanket and walk back to Alex's door. I turn the knob, finding out that it's surprsingly unlocked.

I look over at Alex and she's fast asleep already. I lay my pillow on the floor next to her spot on the bed, laying down and hoping that she doesn't get even more angry when she finds out I snuck in here and slept on the floor. I shrug it off before falling fast asleep.
