God Forgives

So little to say
So much to say

Oh hey
I have something for you today
So, listen to me in a lovely way
I wish I could go back to the day I saw you and just walk away
So far away

Truth be told
You've hurt me, girl
You've hurt my feelings, lady girl
You've broken my heart
Yeah, you have torn me apart
Why did you do that to me?
Why did you leave me?
Oh, why did you desert me?

My love for you blinded me for so long
You've ruined me from head to toe
I will never forget what you've done to me, oh no

How can I forget you?
I trusted you
I loved you
I loved you with all my heart

I intended to marry you one day

Thank God, this never happened
Only God knows why He removed you from my life
Only the Great God knows what we don't know, that's so right

Words of truth
I feel mad, disappointed, upset, and annoyed every time I remember you
You didn't deserve my love for you
I was a fool loving you as much as I did

Do you recall the moment I held your soft hands
And stared into your beautiful brown eyes, and said
" Oh, my dear, I love you "
You smiled at me and whispered in return
" Yes, my love, I do too."

Our love was never meant to be
An illusion, an imaginary dream
Words were weapons, the truth concealed
You, my heart, my trust, did steal
At a place of yellow and red
Our love, a story now dead

Let me make this crystal clear, my dear friend
I don't seek your pity, no, that's not my end
I don't want your tears or sorrow for me
