' What I survived might kill you. '

I woke up the next night stiff as a board from sleeping in a wooden chair so I stood up stretching and had breakfast before deciding to leave Gregory here alone so I can tell my boss of the trespasser, I grabbed my lantern and lit it on my way out .

I loudly knocked on the door and waited for the man to open it. Few minutes later of knocking the man finally got up and open the door, letting me in.
"What you doing at my door at this time of night, son."
I smirked
"Remember I have the graveyard shift so I woke up after sunset anyway I'm here to report of a trespasser."
He looked me serious waiting for me to continue, I shack my head a little not knowing why the guy loved his cemetery so much.
"The first time I caught him I told he to leave and he did but he come back yesterday night. So I told him again that I'll report to you and call the police making him leave but I think he'll be back tonight and what weirder is that the guy is crazy."
He nod.
"Ok in the morning I'll told the police about him, anymore information on him, son."
I nod back to him.
"Middle age man, a little over weight, dress in lather with a rusted red truck with lots of light on it."
He walked in the living room and siting down on his favorite chair.
"So what makes him crazy."
I smirked once again.
"He keep talking about vampires as if they're real."
He just shake his head before leading me out, letting me get back to work so he can go back to sleep.

I walked into my cold room and placed my lantern back in its original place before checking on Gregory seeing that he's still asleep. I sighed as I pulled on a thick sweater from the wooden trunk before I sit back down in my chair. I grabbed my book knowing I can't leave Gregory's side and I start reading were I left off.

After couple of hours Gregory wake up and stared at the ceiling for a while, I sighed and shut my book causing he to flinch a little.
"I told you not to go out there."
He turned his head towards me as I place my book down. He stared at me before he snarled at me and turn he's head away, he whispered lower then any human could hear as he did.
"Your weird."
I smirked.
"I'm not weird, well not weirder then you."
He look to me surprised that I heard him, I smirked again.
"Well your much weirder then me because your not turning into a vampire when I bite you."
I glance around avoiding his eyes.
"I'm immune to vampire venom."
He try to sit but he couldn't fully so I got out of my chair and helped him before I sit on the edge of the bed. He looks at me with emotions in his eyes as he thinks to himself before speaking.
"Why do you keep coming back for me when I only push you away?"
I sigh as I frowned and look at my hands.
"I truly don't know, maybe it's that I finally found someone who might understand me or it's that I'm finally tired of being alone."
I glance at him before changing the subject.
"You were still to weak and I warned you that he would be out there looking for you and your family."
Sadness and longing filled his eyes, suddenly I felt guilty for causing him to feel sad. I placed a hand on his knee causing him to look up at me. I looked into his eyes as I spoke.
"I know that you are worried and missing your family more then you let on but you have to heal first Gregory."
