' I want you to believe...
To believe in thing you cannot. '

Over the past few days I did things as I usually did. I did my job in the cemetery, went into town when I really need to, and did my work around the catacombs. But having Gregory there to talk to and play around with is different but I like it.

"Gregory what are you doing?"

I asked one day when I walked in from work to find him laying on the bed only in his pants and gray undershirt as he uses one of his arms as a pillow, something about it made my heart skip a beat. He glanced at me.

"Reading."

I see that he's holding one of my books, I nod as I walked over and sit the lantern on the night stand before I sit down in the wooden chair and watch him read. His skin as become less paler as he is fully healed, no burn or scar in sight, I watched the muscles in his hands flex as he turned the page, suddenly it's like I can see every little detail as if I was looking through a scope.

I can see how smooth his skin is, how gently he's holding the book, I watch his hand move to turn the page and how gently he touches the page as he turns it, the shirt rippled as he did. He's pants moved along with his legs as he moved them, my eyes travel to his face looking at every detail of it. I watch his ruby red eyes move across the page letting the words take him in. The bags under his eyes are less black and more purple, showing that he's a healthy vampire.

Something in my heart moved, making me look away. As Gregory spoke it sounded like bells to me now making me scared a little.

"Parker"

As he say my name my body shivered in delight.

"Parker"

I finally snipped out of it and I swallow nervously before I looked at him, seeing him looking at me with a emotionless face but I can see his eyes filled with worry.

"Sorry"

I closed my eyes and lean back, trying to calm myself down.

"Why are you reading?"

I asked not looking at him and try to forget what just happened.

"I hate reading but it's the only things I can do right now."

I nod.

"Are you alright?"

I opened my eyes.

"Yeah I'm fine."

I stood up.

"I'll be back."

I walked out without another word, wanting to get out of the room and get some fresh air. I walk through the catacombs seeing that sun light shinning through the cracks as I walk. The sun blinds my eyes when I got to the surface but the view was breathtaking ever time I see it. I take a lung full of fresh air as I walk through the cemetery. After a while I sit on a stone bench and stare up at the baby blue sky.

"Sorry that I failed you father."

I said to myself until someone sit next to me.

"You didn't failed me, my son."

I looked at the ground between my feet.

"It feel like I did."

He lay a hand on my shoulder.

"But you didn't."

"Then why am I here...."

I stood up and looked at him.

"I had to failed you for you to sent me here and to take my wings from me."

I began to get mad when I thought of my precious wings being ripped from my back.

"If I didn't failed you then why did you do it, just so you can get a laugh out of it and watch me squirm as I fend for myself in a world I barely know and so you can control me like my brothers and sisters."

He stood and try to lay his hands on my shoulders but I jerk away.

"Don't touch me."

I said in anger.

"Tell me why father."

I said through my teeth.

"I'm sorry son but it had to be done and I can't tell you why, you have to found out for yourself."

I turn my back to him.

"It's didn't had to be this way father. There are other ways to do things BUT YOUR TO STUPID TO SEE THAT. YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO TAKE THEM FROM ME BUT YOU DID BECAUSE YOU WANTED TOO."

I yelled at him as tears filled my eyes, he just stood there.

"I.....I can't believe......you did....didn't you..."

The tears fall out of my eyes and rolled down my cheeks.
