'He walked into my heart like he always belong there, took my walls down and lit my soul on fire'

Once I'm fully awake I carefully close and placed my book down, I've decided to just get up to save Gregory the embarrassment once he found out he cuddle up to me in his sleep. So I carefully move out of from under him and replace myself with a pillow before quietly getting some clothes from my truck and head towards the bathroom.

I sighed once I step into the cold water washing away the dry dirt and sweat with the soap I've got that smell like the cleanest water you can never find. Once I wash away the soap I dive under the water before quickly resurfacing, pushing all of my hair out of my face. I sit myself on the small rock that's under the small waterfall and have my back facing the door way, I let the thumping of the falling water against my skin pull me into a trance like state that help clear my mind. Before I know it I snapped out of it and swim back to the waters edge, quickly dry myself with a towel once I got out and putting on the dark grey long sleeve shirt with dark green skinny jeans and my old black boots.

I placed my dirty clothes in the dirty pile as I remind myself I need to wash my clothes soon before returning to my room to find Gregory rubbing the sleep from his eyes as he strache his leg out.

"Hey sleepy head."

I smiled at him when he groaned at me before turning away from me making me chuckle as I grabbed a bag of chips, a breakfast bar, and a bottle of water to eat this morning. I sit at the eadg of the bed to eat my small breakfast and to watch Gregory read his book he grabbed from his side of the bed.

"I thought you said you hate reading?"

I asked as I recall the last time I've seen him reading.

"I do I just don't want to face my family at this minute."

He didn't even look away from the book causing me to laugh that he'll read before he'll face his family, I guess more of his father instead.

"What were you and your family doing before you got separated if you don't mind me asking?"

He sighs as he close the book.

"My family been looking for the stone of attamon, a red ruby like stone that fallen from the comet of lost souls that only cross the moon every 300 years. If you have the amulet and you stand before the moon at the moment the comet cross it you can make a wish. We were so close to becoming humans again but the hunters got to us before we could wish it, during the panic my father lost the amulet and it was never seen again."

I remember the comet of the lost souls since a cousin of mine made it for a gift for his mate but I didn't know that a piece had fallen off and made into a amulet that you could wish on.

"A piece fell off?"

He glanced at me with a smirk before he lean on his arm.

"Yes, a great magician converted it into a stone of power."

I nod as I eat the last chip and open the breakfast bar.

"If I'm correct the comet is going to happen in a month or two."

Gregory sighs as I see the longing and the sadness in his eyes.

"My father has been more frustrated at finding the amulet while I've given up the hope of ever becoming a human again and accepted being a vampire. I try a many of a time to convince my father of the same and give up the amulet because we'll never find it."

I frown and shook my head.
