The Visitor's Wails
Oh St. Valentine, where hides your charm?
What is it that I see, chaos of a ruined home?
What is it that I hear, wails of the lonely bird?
What is it that I think, different from what I heard?
Where did disappear, the brooks of love?
Where did they go, the couples of now?
Where is the kingdom of trees,
Which held your divine abodes of peace?
The colours of the rainbow, of nature,
Hiding? Or gone, amidst those of grey texture?
Textures of concrete, steel and plastic,
This makes me stone-cold, this is drastic.
Please, bring back thy love unconditional,
Between those forgiving, those passionate,
Take away all those feelings irrational,
Let love, and only love, choose the fate.
