My Valentine
He walks like a hero walks
He talks like a hero talks
His eyes are a chestnut brown
And he never ever wears a frown
He's open to all who speak
Both the mighty and the weak
And all can be forewarned
Their beliefs are never scorned
Matters not, big or small
Matters not, he's there for all
In time of trouble he's a friend
His loyalty will never bend
Whenever there is doubt or fear
You will know he's always near
To protect you always from that pain
And make things right for you again
And as I stare at my reflection
Knowing what I am and who I see
Oh would not being that benign
Make such a wondrous valentine . . . to me
