The Velvet Door
If you look closely, you'll see a velvet door
once you enter, you can't escape its claws,
for there lies a town, vast as ocean's galore
where love roams freely, no one to press pause,
where Cupid's arrows land on those he adore
where lovers reside in peace, no resting clause,
where rainbows sprinkle happiness delights
where romantic evenings turn to twilight.
Welcome, you are in my Valentine Town
I'm the mayor, let me take you around
Where crystal little hearts adorn the crown
Where soft promises make up the lush green ground
Where trust has never let anyone down
Where true love blossoms all seasons abound
That's our little lover's abode, mi amor
Why don't you come in through that velvet door?
