Cupids in a Quiver

Eros a rather shameful little cupid stood in front the cheering crowd with shaky hands clasping an aching head, and naked butt cheeks quivering.

He'd been out on the town drinking with Isosceles and was finding it difficult to work out the triangulation of the arrow he was about to deliver.

All the help he got, were some useless wise words about love conquers all, from Socrates philosopher.

It wasn't as if he was in comfort of Athens or Rome, it's winter here in Manchester.

He'd been summoned to 'Old Trafford' where he stood in all his glory, dressed only in a tin hat and was all of a shiver.

He did intend to fire his arrow at David Beckham, who was talking to Sir Alex but failed to deliver.

The loosened arrow found its way to Cristiano Ronaldo, who was looking in a mirror, this wasn't a problem because he already loved himself, but he also never failed to deliver.

I'm sure there's a moral to this story if you can see it please let me know and help me to deliver.

A/N - For those with limited football knowledge David Beckham had love-hate relationship with his manager Sir Alex Ferguson and if you don't know who Christiano Ronaldo is I'm not even going to try and explain :0)
