Pippa refused to tell me what was going on. She did tell me that her boyfriend and a few friends were on their way to pick us up though.
"Pippa are they here yet?" I asked yet again for the tenth time. My patience was like a sand timer slowly passing away.
Pippa glanced at her watch again. "They'll be here soon I promise."
Just then a black honda pulled up and the driver honked his horn.
Finally, That took ages.
Opening the door, I sat down on the black leather seats. I was greeted with stares of confusion from everyone. Then they all turned to Pippa with the same look.
The girl next to me looked me up and down with her grey steely eyes which was mostly covered by her dark thick lashes. "Who is that?"
Pippa turned around and pointed at me."That is Hannah, my new friend."
"I thought we weren't allowed to bring outsiders on Memourius day."
Memourius day? What's that?
"Onyx, Hannah is not an outsider. She a great person if you get to know her."
I started to unbuckle my seatbelt. "Look I'll just go if I'm not wanted here."
Pippa begged. "No don't go. Please stay."
I sigh. "Fine."

The rest of the car ride was silent. I could tell Pippa was the only one who wanted me here. Soon we turned up next to an library.Pippa's boyfriend alerted everyone. "We're here guys."
I opened the car door and stepped out. From up close the library seemed
to be wrinkled with age. The dusty yellow paint was beginning to peel and the sign that hung above the library that read 'Mulbury Library' was slowly fading. The inside of the library seemed incomparable to the outside. There were rows and rows of bookshelfs with books neatly stacked on each one. They were all in alphabetical order and were sorted by genres. I trailed my finger across the spines of the books searching for one. If I ever happened to be bored I could read one of them.
"Beautiful right?"
I jumped startled. I looked behind me to see the girl from the car. She had sat next to Onyx and hadn't said a word to me until now.
I now my head in agreement. "Yeah it is."
She tucks a blonde wisp of her short hair behind her ear before offering to shake my hand. "I'm Lexi by the way."
I shake her hand and couldn't help but stare at her eyes. They reminded me of blades of green grass glimmering on a summer day.
She smiles and beckons me to follow her. " I'll show you around just follow me."
I followed through the maze of bookshelfs which lead to a small computer section. She explained to me that only two could be used at a time or the computer server would lag. We then walked up the swirling staircase which was there relaxation zone was. There were a couple of double beds that stood on the floor.
"Why are there beds in a library?"
"We tend to stay overnight sometimes.
Lexi explained, you see this place used to be a mess. So we all saved up to refurbish this place so we could stay here. A place where we could ours.""Anyways we should head down now the boys should should have everything done." Lexi made her way down the staircase and I followed close behind her.
Pippa's boyfriend hauled in a few plastic bags inside and placed them on a table nearby.
Pippa ran her fingers through Romans short brown curls. "Have I ever told your my star Roman?"
Roman chuckled and gazed into Pippa's eyes with his electricity charged blue eyes with such intensity. "Have I ever told you your my shining sun?"
Onyx pretended to throw up and threw a cushion straight at the two. "Eww get a room."
They giggled and disappeared into the computer section hand in hand.
I sat down on the sofa unsure of what to do. Maybe it was best if I left now.
"Sorry about earlier. Onyx apologised, it's just I'm no good at meeting new people." She pushed the hair that kept falling on her face away.
"It's okay, I understand I'm not either."
Onyx looked at me in shock. "You seem really outgoing."
I giggle. "I am so not outgoing."
We talk about things we didn't know we had in common like books, films, music-- and anything as we wait for Lexi to finish cooking.
(Turns out there's a small kitchen here too.)There is a sudden knock on the door. I offer to open it and make my way there.
But when I opened the door I did not expect to see him.
