Beep beep beep beep!

My phone alarm screeched, alerting me awake. I jolted upright, peering at every entrance to make sure no one intruded on me during my beauty sleep.

I examined the doors and windows from afar, sure enough, they securely fastened shut.

I pushed aside my comforter groggily, and stood up, taking a quick peek in the mirror before leaving my room.

(H/c) hair tied back into a bun lazily, a pair of (color) pajama pants sitting low on my hips, and a (color) tank top.

I swiped my assassin blade from beside my pillow and slipped it onto my wrist, adjusting the tightness as I worked my way down the steps. Nearly tripping over my own feet, I walked into the kitchen.

At the table sat Connor, Ezio, Jacob and Bayek. Hovering over the stove was Altaïr, with Edward to his right at the sink. I slowly dragged my feet across the floor as I took a seat at the dining table.

"Good morning, (Y/n)." Altaïr quietly asked from the other side of kitchen. I grunted in reply, groups of my (h/c) piling into my face.

I hummed a string of unintelligible 'hmm's, hoping someone would understand what I was saying. Ezio and Edward chuckled lightly at my attempt for conversation.

"Lass, you know we can't understand you when you just hm." Edward claimed, a smile overriding his features. You know, living with Assassins had its ups and downs, but them being totally adorable and hot was undeniably an up.

"Yes, (Y/n). You need to speak English, amore, so we can hear that beautiful voice of yours." Ezio complimented, causing a slight pink to make itself known on my cheeks. I felt blood rush to my face; it was undoubtedly a blush.

"W-what is our next attack on the Templars?" The blush Ezio caused me intervening in my sentence, a stutter accidentally slipping out.

"Oh, look what you did to the poor girl, Ezio! You made her stutter, how cute!" Jacob commented, shoveling some pancake bits into his mouth. Bayek sat at the table, politely eating his provided food.

"Shut it, Brit. Let her be." Altaïr turned around from cooking food over the stove and glared at Jacob, his face expressing nothing. He was emotionless, yet it struck fear into the hearts of those he threatened.

Jacob continued to choke down the food he was made, as did Altaïr, resuming his previous action.

Edward withdrew his phone from his back jean pocket and turned it on. His eyes widened as he showed Altaïr what he was so surprised at, causing him to be wide-eyed as well.

"H-hey lassie, check your calendar. . ." Edward told me, not even giving me a glance before shoving his phone back into the depths of his pocket and exiting the kitchen.

I gazed at my phone hesitantly (which was on the table), and entered the password. I opened the calendar app and it loaded up. In bold, reddish-pink letters was:

Happy Valentine's Day!

"Um. . . .g-guys?" I asked shyly and peered up - only to find the kitchen ultimately vacant.

"Oh.." I frowned slightly. I rose from my seat at the end of the table and began up the stairs, my feet sliding up the rising floor. My (e\c) orbs just stared blankly at the floor.

At the top, however, were all the Assassins with a vibrant red rose in their hands. Upon seeing this, my heart dropped, as did my jaw. Sure they were still in their pajamas, but that's okay.

"Happy Valentine's Day, (Y/n)." Connor's usually monotone voice now filled with something else, something. . . . .new.

Was it lust? Romance? Passion? No, it was all three, and more.

And guess what happened next? Connor smiled. He smiled.

I ran the up remainder of the stairs (almost tripping over my own feet, again), and gathered the guys in one big bear hug to portray my gratitude and love back. They all smiled in my embrace.

"We love you, bella." Ezio stated calmly, hugging back and gently placing a kiss to my cheek.

We stayed there just enjoying each other's company until I decided it was best to break the silence.

"So, movie time?" I suggested, earning a groan from Edward.

"Are you going to make us spend the entire day watching cheesy romance movies now?!" Edward complained, making a somewhat angry face. I chuckled.

"I was thinking horror movies so we can all snuggle together to brace against the jump scares, but we can do that too," I smirked deviously, making the Assassins back away from the previously warm hug.

"You know what? Whatever," Edward surrendered, clearly up to something, "As long as I have you I'll be fine." He finished, handing me the rose in his coarse hand. The others following suit.
