maybe thankyou's aren't enough
all scenarios/chapters (until the end) are based off things that have happened to me/i've done, or things i've seen so pls don't think these situations are far fetched:))

it was the end of the school day and louis and harry we're leaving hand in hand.
until they walked past everyone's favourite cleaner vicky, who was struggling to carry the hoover out of the cleaning supplies cupboard.
"hey let me help you"
"no lad you go off home, this is my job, you don't have to do this"
he let go of louis' hand and gave him a shy smile, almost like he thought louis would hate him for making him walk to his bus alone. that was parked right outside of the school gates.
"i'll call you later yeah?"
"don't worry h, see you later"
harry picked up the hoover from where the cleaner had put it down and began to assemble it, plugging it in and started hoovering the carpet without another thought.
they worked as a team, vicky cleaned the whiteboards and emptied the bins, while harry made his way around all the classrooms hoovering.
"do you find this job hard? i mean you have to hoover every single room, and there's like a hundred!", harry asked as they made there way up to the second floor.
he liked making small talk.
everyone knew him as this confident boy, that would speak to anyone, smile at people in the corridor if he knew they were being picked on, make conversation with strangers.
"it can get tiring, and my back's not as young as it used to be, but i love all you kids and it pays the bills"
they finished cleaning the classrooms and it was 6pm.
"harry, you didn't have to do that", vicky said as she packed away the cupboard and harry stood there sheepishly.
"but you did, i'll make sure to inform the headmaster, you're a great kid. thankyou so much for all of your help"
"it was my pleasure vicky, i learned a lot too!"
they parted ways and harry made his way home as the sun went down, he called louis halfway through his journey and they spoke about what harry had gotten up to when louis caught his bus.
