it had been a few hours since harry and louis had been let out of school and they were at the park, louis had planned to catch the later bus instead.
harry had his head rested on top of louis' lap, as they sat on a daisy filled patch of grass next to the swings.
they both had content smiles on their faces, louis' hands occasionally finding their way to harry's curls.
they heard a crash and both lifted their heads towards to noise.
the park was on a slope, so the path alongside it was really steep.
for years the council had been trying to get planning permission to make it safer for the children but obviously nothing had been done about it.
harry fell down it and scraped his knees when he was a toddler.
they discovered the cause of the noise was a frail looking man sat on a very stuck looking mobility scooter.
harry figured that the hill he was going up was too steep for him to get up.
without hesitation he lifted himself off the grass and made his way towards the park gate.
"do you need some help sir?"
"oh yes! thankyou, i'll need a bit of a push i think"
he laughed and rambled on about how old his scooter was getting, while harry try to figure out how to unlock the wheels so he could push it.
louis strolled up to them, easily bending down and undoing the lock, smiling cheekily up to harry.
they both pushed it until they were happy that rodger (harry asked for his name) would be able to drive it from there.
he turned and waved to the boys before slowly rolling away.
"you're always so quick to help haz", louis said as they walked back into the park.
harry didn't answer, he didn't have one.
