I grabbed my phone, backpack, and house key. I walked out my room and went downstairs to see my mom cooking breakfast
"Hey ma, did Jordan wake up" I asked her
"Hell no, go wake him up" she said
I went upstairs and went to my brother's room.
"JORDAN GET UP WE HAVE SCHOOL" I yelled
"LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE" he yelled back
I opened the door and seen him laying down on the bed
I smirked and got on his bed and started jumping up and down
"Bro, Riah. Get out" he mumbled
"Momma said get up or you walking to school" I said
He rolled his eyes and got up.
So me and my brother sibling relationship is okay. I mean we don't really talk and if we do it's only because to tell him something that my mom wants me to tell him. And his a Senior an I'm a sophomore so we really don't see each other at school and when we do we don't talk to each other.
I walked out his room and went downstairs to the kitchen
"Here your breakfast, is your brother up" mom asked while handing my food
"Yea, his up" I said while eating a piece of bacon
By the time I was done eating my brother came downstairs dressed

"I'm walking anyway" he mumbled while walking out the house
My mom shook her head
"One day I'm going to just punched his ass in the throat" she said
I laughed. I put my dish in the sink and followed my mom out the house. *
* "Thanks for the ride mom" I said while getting out the car
"You welcome, do you need me to pick you up after school" she asked
"No, I have cheerleading practice today" I told her
She nodded her head and pulled off. I rolled my eyes as I walked in the school building
"Hey Riah" my bestfriend Kaari
"Hey girl" I said as we gave each other a hug
"You coming to practice today" she asked me
"Girl duhh, you know I never miss practice" I told her
Then the bell rung
"I will catch you at lunch alright" I said
We gave each other a hug then went to class *

After School 3:00 pm
"Mariah, Coach said there's no practice today. Something came up" Kaari said
"What, I just told my mom to not pick me up after school because I got practice. Now I have to walk home" I said with a sigh
"Or you can ride with me" she said
"No it's okay, I'll walk. My house is that not that far anyway" I said
She looked unsure
"Are you sure, I don't mind taking you home" she said
"I'm okay, but I'm going head and leave" I said
She sighed
"Okay Riah, be safe" she said
"I will, bye" I said
I walked out of the school building and started walking home *
* Its was like 3:10 pm an I was still walking
"Damn, I should've just accepted the ride" I mumbled
While I was walking I felt like someone was watching me. I looked around me and seen nobody, I shrugged it off and kept walking.
I seen an ally and decided to take the short cut. I heard a car driving slow behind me so I started to pick up my pace, I heard them driving a little fast so I took off running
"HURRY UP AND GET HER" A man yelled
I throw my backpack down and kept running, then next thing I know I was pushed down on the ground.
"LET G-" the person cut me off by hitting me in the back of the head making me black out
