Chapter 19: Moriarty Organization Vs. The Valkyries

Lorelei's POV

Darkness.

That is what Loki is. Now I'm not doubting why his name is derived from the Norse trickster God. Right now nandito kami sa events hall ng aming resort. Nasa tabi ko sina Stein at Luthor, also hadcuffed. I guess they were also tricked by the one we trusted the most, our own president.

"Damn you Loki!", Stein roared. "It's you after all.

"What are you planning idiot", Luthor said with eyes closed. I feel like he did not fear anything that's happening around us right now.

Loki is just standing on the pillar with a gun in his right hand. A very rare sight na di ko akalaing mangyayari. But right now even if he abducted us, I still have a very little trust left in him. Something that feels like if there's someone to trust in this world, it's Loki. Pero right now I'm just hoping that this reality is just a freaking nightmare.

Loki walked towards us. His intimidating aura shrouds over me. It's the first time I felt fear for him. But I'm confuse if it's the fear of being hurt by him or the fear of losing him. Loki completed me, I'm the incomplete puzzle and he is the missing pieces of me. I can't lose him.

My eyes were filled with worry as he slowly opened his mouth.

"I'm the last general of the moriarty organization"

My eyes widened. I'm in pure shock, no emotions came out from me. I'm shocked, but I'm not surprised. After he handcuffed me, I even thought that he is Moriarty itself. Now it's bugging me.

Loki is not the type of person that would follow someone's orders. Or if that someone does exist, it might be someone he trusted the most.

Wait....

Could it be....

My eyes sparked with a little hope. Maybe he's just forced! Isa lang ang pumapasok sa isip ko.

Walang iba kundi si Rhiannon.

Someone is coming. And to my shock. It's far from what I expected. Rhea is handcuffed. May panyo na nakatabon sa bibig niya. Sa likod niya ay si Jamie, aiming a knife at her neck.

"Damn you. Come here and I'll kill you myself", Luthor yelled. Pinipilit niyang magpumiglas sa pagkakagapos. But it's futile.

"Jamie what's the meaning of this?", I asked. "Are you the jigsaw killer?"

She smirked. "Oh Lorelei nice to meet you. Sad ngalang kasi si Little Rhea ang nakita ko. If it's you I would've stabbed you a million times"

This is bad. She's psychotic!!!

Resulta ba ito dahil sa nangyari sa boat?

Biglang nag flashback sa akin ang first day sa Clark University. On the very first day of school, the whole QED Club tricked me, with Jamie as the killer. I still have a little spark of hope that this is just a prank.

But deep inside, I know that it is not a prank anymore. Some part of me wishes that this is just a dream. And I hope somebody would wake me up for it.

"I never knew you would be Moriarty, Jamie. You really learned a lot from me", Stein said and smirked.

"Tss. I'm not Moriarty. I just wanna kill Lorelei. That's it. Isasama ko na itong first bitch ni Loki"

What she said really affected Loki. He's frowning. Jamie's face brightened, as if she thought of a great idea. She grinned.

Jamie grabbed Rhea's hair. Agad siyang lumapit sa akin and she proceeded to grab mine. Napakasakit ng ginawa niya. Nagwawala na din si Rhea ngunit may takip sa kaniyang bibig. Jamie proceeds to remove the handkerchief in her mouth.
